DNA Can Teleport!?! Rapture Proof!?!

Save all the Star Trek jokes for later.

Did modern man just "discover" ("confirm" actually) that the Rapture is scientifically possible!?!

DNA Molecules Can 'Teleport', Nobel Prize Winner Claims

A Nobel Prize winning biologist has ignited controversy after publishing details of an experiment in which a fragment of DNA appeared to ‘teleport’ or imprint itself between test tubes.

According to a team headed by Luc Montagnier, previously known for his work on HIV and AIDS, two test tubes, one of which contained a tiny piece of bacterial DNA, the other pure water, were surrounded by a weak electromagnetic field of 7Hz.

Eighteen hours later, after DNA amplification using a polymerase chain reaction, as if by magic the DNA was detectable in the test tube containing pure water.

Oddly, the original DNA sample had to be diluted many times over for the experiment to work, which might explain why the phenomenon has not been detected before, assuming that this is what has happened.

The phenomenon might be very loosely described as 'teleportation' except that the bases project or imprint themselves across space rather than simply moving from one place to another.

To be on the safe side, Montagnier then compared the results with controls in which the time limit was lowered, no electromagnetic field was present or was present but at lower frequencies, and in which both tubes contained pure water. On every one of these, he drew a blank.

The possible quantum effect – the apparent imprinting of the DNA on the water – is not in itself the most contentious element of the experiment, so much as the relatively long timescales over which it appears to manifest itself. Quantum phenomena are assumed to show their faces in imperceptible fractions of a second and not seconds minutes and hours, and usually at very low temperatures approaching absolute zero.

Revealing a process through which biology might display the underlying ‘quantumness’ of nature at room temperature would be startling.

Montagnier’s experiment will have to be repeated by others to have any hope of being taken seriously. So far, some scientists have been publically incredulous.

By the way, if you read the PDF file of the results of this experiment you'll notice something quite significant -- the use of Nanotechnology that played a key role in the success of this experiment!

In addition, we also just learned that Scientists have made next-generation computers with gold and DNA using...Nanotech! Researchers have fabricated a lattice out of gold and virus fragments. It could make your computer much faster, and turn it into a biological machine!

Tiny gold nanospheres and pieces of virus were hooked together using strands of DNA. The DNA pieces were created specifically for the experiment. Small spheres of gold attach to certain base pairs and form part of the lattice. Gold, while malleable for a metal, is relatively heavy and rigid for such a small structure. The lattice is made more bendable by its organic component, capsids, which are what make up the protein shells of viruses. These bits of virus 'skin' string together the tough gold spheres.

A mix of all of these components - DNA, capsids, and gold spheres - self-assembles into a lattice. The structure of that lattice can, with certain materials, be made into a photonic crystal. No one would have to build a crystal to use in optical computing, mixing together the right ingredients could make it build itself.

A "biological machine" sounds an awful lot like the "Borg" to me (or "Cylons" even). In addition, it was only a few hours ago when it was reported that the characteristics of DNA have made it a useful tool in Nanotechnology for controlling how Nanoparticle clusters are formed in the laboratory, which makes this next statement from the article even more chilling...

Since DNA consists of pairs of nucleotide bases, researchers can make synthetic DNA strands capped with different types of nanoparticles, and create aggregates of a desired structure by allowing the DNA to hybridize with complementary strands. This technique was presented in 2007 at the 234th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society by Dr. Mathew Maye of the Brookhaven National Laboratory.

Our last look at that truly forbidden Science, and why both Christians and non-Christians alike should be concerned about it, was back in early October. Perhaps it's time to take another look and listen, huh?

Vancouver Invention Will Help Detect Flu Bug

A team of Vancouver-based scientists is developing a hand-held device that will help doctors diagnose sick patients in a quick test that identifies the bugs patients are carrying by separating human DNA from virus DNA.

Finding a virus's DNA from a throat swab is similar to "looking for a needle in a haystack," said Andre Marziali, a physics professor at the University of British Columbia, because the sample is crowded with human DNA.

He and his team hope his medical "tricorder" invention -- a portable, battery-powered device that can pinpoint the specific DNA signature of the virus -- will help the medical community.

"Researchers often can't identify viruses that are infecting someone because of the amount of human DNA in the background. That is exactly the situation they're in now," Marziali said. "What this can do is it can pick out specific DNA sequences for analysis. This is huge. We have an incredible ability to reject background DNA."

The device will have various ways of taking samples from patients -- such as blood tests or throat swabs -- that can be placed in the main instrument for real-time analysis.

Marziali couldn't suggest a cost estimate for the tricorder, but noted its success depended on being inexpensive because users would need to buy cartridges to hold samples. The device is developed using similar technology to the Aurora, a machine used by forensics researchers to extract DNA from the dirtiest of samples, including dirt and tar.

Doctors are about 70 per cent accurate when diagnosing patients during flu season, which is why the tricorder's accuracy would be extremely beneficial, said Dr. Don Low, chief microbiologist at Toronto's Mount Sinai Hospital.

"It would have an incredible use at the front line as a utility in doctors' offices, walk-in clinics and in the emergency department."

Marziali is convinced the device also would be of use in other markets, such as security and pandemic control, and in remote areas where access to doctors and hospitals is limited.

A device called a "tricorder" just like in the popular Star Trek franchise being reported just a week or two after news emerges about the scientific reality of "teleportation" too? Are you kidding me!?! Still doubt our constant claims of "Predictive Programming" courtesy of Hollywood?

Meanwhile, the DNA-related news hits keep coming! It was just reported minutes ago that Scientists have found the tiny 24-hour clock in every living thing! This is significant, they explained, because circadian rhythms have always been assumed to be linked to DNA and gene activity -- but, unlike most other cells in the body, red blood cells do not have DNA. What a time to be alive, huh?

How did we miss this news from January 13th? No matter. It also doesn't matter what Science ultimately says about what's in the Scriptures; things that were put there by the very Creator of the Universe Himself.

[Ok, I'm done. Cue the anti-Rapture attacks in the Comments Section! Kidding, of course.]

'UFO' Seen Over Jerusalem!?!

So sorry. I know this is the third post in less than an hour this morning, but this is urgent.

Whenever I speak of the mystery of what I've called "spiritual convergence", this is EXACTLY what I mean by that! There's just no other way to describe this. No other way.

Before I get to what has me shaking my head (the title of this piece clearly gives it away), just stop for a moment and marvel at the likelihood that this appears in the news "by mere chance" after the entry I just put up on the Global Competitiveness Forum 2011 that was held this week in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the unprecedented and unusual content seriously discussed there with world business and political leaders, and its likely connection to President Obama's odd choice of words in his State of the Union speech that occurred simultaneously with that Middle Eastern forum.

Remember, Christians don't believe in "coincidence" like the rest of the world does. There is no Hebrew word for "coincidence" either. Secularly speaking, I once heard someone say, "You know what they say about 'coincidence', right? It's take a lot of planning!" So true indeed.

Now that we're all on the same page, please take a look at what I just stumbled upon...

Smoking Gun UFO Footage Over Jerusalem: Aliens Are Here!

Two witnesses who happened to be at the Armon Hanatziv panoramic lookout over Mount Zion and the Dome of the Rock/Temple Mount in Jerusalem, Israel at 1am managed to film what might be one of the most interesting UFO clips ever captured (see video below). The sighting took place only yesterday on the morning of the 28th of January.

The men notice the large ball shaped UFO suspended in the night sky and begin to film. At a little after one minute into the clip the UFO descends almost to ground level directly over the Dome of the Rock/Temple Mount. The craft hovers there for a short while and then flickers and shoots upwards at an incredible speed, to the shock of the witnesses.

One of the witnesses, Mr Eli Gael, notes during the filming, in Hebrew, that he is certain that it must be forbidden for civilian craft to hover over Jerusalem in such a manner.

This video opens all kinds of questions; Do aliens take an interest in our religions? Did aliens have a hand in creating our belief systems? And finally, is this object the star that was seen over nearby Bethlehem at the time of the birth of Jesus?
Perhaps this UFO visit to the Dome of the Rock/Temple Mount is a prelude to open contact believed by many to be only a short time away.

Before we proceed let's remember we are to be of sound mind here (2 Timothy 1:7).

Folks, this is EVERYTHING that myself and many others have been trying to warn you about -- the coming unholy marriage between these demonic beings that the world will be told are "Aliens" and their relationship to the major religions of the world! Just re-read that last paragraph for this man's New Age (and un-Biblical) perspective on the whole subject because there's your proof of how a majority of the world will respond to any "Full Disclosure" type of event.

Even if you don't believe this is legit, or don't trust that news site (or the author for that matter), or that this video is actually from Jerusalem, or that the "Alien/UFO" phenomenon is real, the point of me sharing this story with you is to demonstrate how it's being shoved down our throats -- yet again! That's the point. The conditioning process continues.

So, in the span of a single week we witnessed the following...

Yep, I'd say that classifies as more evidence of the "signs of the times" all around us.

[NOTE: Did any of you "Symbolism Junkies" catch the use of the words "Two Witnesses" in the above news report too? My oh my! It never ends!]

Time is perilously short. The time for spiritual preparation is almost over.

I don't write any of this from a spirit of fear (or to even foster a spirit of fear), but merely yo point out what I see as being obvious now. I pray that you see it too.

Pray for wisdom and discernment in the days and weeks ahead.

Repent because His judgment is coming!

SOTU Speech Linked To Saudi Arabian Forum?

Many of you are well aware of the fact that the key to seeing the "big picture" and to understand what's really going on in this upside down world is to look at it from a Biblical perspective and through the prism of prophecy.

On a practical level, that means taking what we already know to expect from God's Word and making that our foundation. Then, we need to use the brain that God gave us and seek out news and information, not just from a few select sources, but from multiple sources from around the world.

Often times this will include getting our news from the Right, the Left, the Middle, the mainstream, the non-mainstream, the national, and the international media outlets. Why is that important? Because it's like putting together a puzzle. The more pieces you have in your possession, the greater your chances of being able to put them all together in the right places so that a clear picture emerges.

That being said, I'm beginning to wonder if we may have found the reason behind President Obama's odd choice of the words "Sputnik moment" ("This is our nation's Sputnik moment...") during his State of the Union speech earlier in the week.

Not surprisingly, I believe it ties in with the so-called “Alien/UFO” demonic deception that's on our doorstep at the moment. Before you assume you know where I'm going with this, please continue reading.

First, for anyone who’s new to LUF or unfamiliar with the Christian perspective on the whole "Alien/UFO" thing, I'll simply say that such occurrences are real, but they have NOTHING to do with “little green men from outer space”, and EVERYTHING to do with demonic entities, or deceiving spirits, perhaps even connected to the Fallen Angels and Nephilim we read about in Genesis 6 (Genesis 6:4 specifically).

In any event, there was some pretty big news on this front this past week. The words "UFO Convention" may conjure up images of all sorts of crazy things, but what about business professionals and politicians? If you're shaking your head in disbelief or rejection of such a notion, then you obviously haven’t heard about the latest version of the "Alien/UFO Convention" -- the Global Competitiveness Forum.

Before I comment further, here's a little teaser. Here's a look at some of the highlights from this year's conference (pay close attention around the 2:00 mark!)...

It's kind of like the hip version of Nevada's "Alien/UFO Convention", isn't it? But what about what you heard and saw around the 2-minute mark when they showed clips from the "Contact: Learning From Outer Space" portion of the forum? Unreal, huh?

Anyway, this conference took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and attracted leaders in business, sports, politics, and education. Organizers and the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority that sponsored the event believe talking "Aliens/UFOs" will prompt forward thinking and fuel innovation.

Folks, this was the first time that has ever happened! The idea was to bring together a group of forward thinkers who share a common interest in solving global challenges and push them to think big. Basically, even though the mainstream press is not covering it at all, the fact that a portion of the forum treated the subject of "Aliens/UFOs" seriously with so many global heavy hitters in attendance speaks volumes. It legitimizes the entire subject even further and is probably a key component toward the process of "Full Disclosure", which now seems closer than ever before.

Ok, but who are some of the "global heavy hitters" who were in attendance? Aside from some major CEOs, the most notable person there was probably former US President Bill Clinton, or former Prime Minister Tony Blair.

It’s not a coincidence that this forum in Saudi Arabia, and the unprecedented "Alien/UFO" content that was discussed by several of the world’s business and political leaders, DIRECTLY COINCIDED with President Obama’s odd "Sputnik moment" phrase from his State of the Union Address. In fact, his words make much more sense in light of the facts about this forum, wouldn’t you say?

Haitians Tell Monsanto To Go To Hell

In the previous post, we spent a lot of time discussing the coming "food crisis" by looking at some of the news related to the prophecy about the "Black Horse" from the Book of Revelation.

One more food related headline and story -- I promise. I highlighted this on last night's Right Now Radio broadcast too. It's a story that reminds me of a popular verse (emphasis mine)...

Hosea 4:6 (KJV) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Hosea 4:6 (NIV) my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. "Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.

Why was I reminded of that one verse?

Because how else do you explain how Haitians -- a nation and people collectively devastated by an unprecedented earthquake there last year, and those living with none of the "creature comforts" we Americans take for granted (like say the Internet and the access to truthful information it provides) -- how do you explain how they have the common sense and foresight to know enough to burn 400 tons of Genetically Modified seeds that were given to them as a "gift" from corporate giant Monsanto? Monsanto, in case you don’t know, is the face of the “Frankenfoods” push in the world.



Obviously, there is presently a shortage of seed in Haiti because of the unprecedented disaster there, and because many rural families used their Maize seed to feed refugees. Like any benevolent disaster capitalist corporation, Monsanto extended a hand in a time of crisis to the 65% of the population that survives off of subsistence agriculture. But not just any hand was extended in this time of great need. Instead, it was a fistful of seeds. Great, right? Wrong!

The extended fist was full of Corn seeds, or one of Haiti's staple crops, but it was treated with the fungicide Maxim XO. With similar benevolence, not just any Tomato seeds were donated to the Haitian peasants, but Tomato seeds treated with Thiram, a chemical so toxic the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has ruled it too toxic to sell for home garden use, further mandating that any agricultural worker planting these seeds must wear special protective clothing.

I’d say thanks but no thanks! Nearly 60,000 seed sacks of hybrid Corn seeds and other Vegetable seeds were donated to post-earthquake Haiti by Monsanto. In observance of World Environment Day, back on June 4th, 2010, roughly 10,000 rural Haitian farmers gathered in Papaye to march 7 kilometers to Hinche in celebration of this so-called “gift”.

Upon arrival, these rewarded farmers took their baskets of more than 400 tons of Vegetable seeds and burned them all! "Long live the native Maize seed!" they chanted in unison! "Monsanto's GMO [genetically modified organism] & hybrid seed violate peasant agriculture!" others yelled! Good for them, right? You bet!

I see a story like this and I can’t help but wonder if the same thing would’ve happened here in the US. I hate to have so little faith in my fellow Americans, and to be so pessimistic, but I think it’s been our nation’s incredible blessings that have made a majority of its people too apathetic and clueless about things that should be extremely important to them like the present dangers created by a company like Monsanto and their unnatural creations. Reminds me of the Laodiceans from Revelation 3.



I wish I wasn't right in thinking that, but I guess I’m justified in feeling that way too since The Organic Consumers Association just published a column Thursday that states that the "Organic Elite" have surrendered to Monsanto...

In the wake of a 12-year battle to keep Monsanto's Genetically Engineered (GE) crops from contaminating the nation's 25,000 organic farms and ranches, America's organic consumers and producers are facing betrayal. A self-appointed cabal of the Organic Elite, spearheaded by Whole Foods Market, Organic Valley, and Stonyfield Farm, has decided it's time to surrender to Monsanto. Top executives from these companies have publicly admitted that they no longer oppose the mass commercialization of GE crops, such as Monsanto's controversial Roundup Ready alfalfa, and are prepared to sit down and cut a deal for "coexistence" with Monsanto and USDA biotech cheerleader Tom Vilsack.

In a cleverly worded, but profoundly misleading email sent to its customers last week, Whole Foods Market, while proclaiming their support for organics and "seed purity," gave the green light to USDA bureaucrats to approve the "conditional deregulation" of Monsanto's genetically engineered, herbicide-resistant alfalfa. Beyond the regulatory euphemism of "conditional deregulation," this means that WFM and their colleagues are willing to go along with the massive planting of a chemical and energy-intensive GE perennial crop, alfalfa; guaranteed to spread its mutant genes and seeds across the nation; guaranteed to contaminate the alfalfa fed to organic animals; guaranteed to lead to massive poisoning of farm workers and destruction of the essential soil food web by the toxic herbicide, Roundup; and guaranteed to produce Roundup-resistant superweeds that will require even more deadly herbicides such as 2,4 D to be sprayed on millions of acres of alfalfa across the U.S.

In exchange for allowing Monsanto's premeditated pollution of the alfalfa gene pool, WFM wants "compensation." In exchange for a new assault on farmworkers and rural communities (a recent large-scale Swedish study found that spraying Roundup doubles farm workers' and rural residents' risk of getting cancer), WFM expects the pro-biotech USDA to begin to regulate rather than cheerlead for Monsanto. In payment for a new broad spectrum attack on the soil's crucial ability to provide nutrition for food crops and to sequester dangerous greenhouse gases (recent studies show that Roundup devastates essential soil microorganisms that provide plant nutrition and sequester climate-destabilizing greenhouse gases), WFM wants the Biotech Bully of St. Louis to agree to pay "compensation" (i.e. hush money) to farmers "for any losses related to the contamination of his crop."

I’m not going to spend time telling you why this happened because it pretty much amounts to nothing more than “politics as usual” and you can read the full report for yourself.

Meanwhile, the nation yawns without giving a single thought to the effects this will have on the national food supply, or how it is racing us that much closer to the fulfillment of end times Bible prophecy.

Like I’ve been saying all along, time is short!

This latest entry regarding FEMA and its connection with "fear mongering" made me think of this end times verse...

From fear to food.

Food related news appears to be everywhere these days. Whether it's food inflation or food shortages, just type the word "Food" into Google, click the "News" button on the side of the page, and watch all the results that turn up.

The infamous Black Horse of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse seems ready to ride upon the earth. She's getting into position and is at the starting gate.

Of course, we know that the Black Horse will bring a global economic catastrophe was well as a worldwide famine, but let’s go back to the specific verses from the Book of Revelation and read what they say.

Revelation 6:5-6 (KJV) And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and [see] thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

Revelation 6:5-6 (NIV) When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, "A quart of wheat for a day's wages, and three quarts of barley for a day's wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!"

Amazingly, “a measure of wheat for a penny” it says. Today, it was reported that panic buying fears send crop prices higher. There it is people. Current events, publicized news, about what’s really going on in the world, hinting at what’s to come -- a future recorded for us in God’s Word, and a future largely ignored by the apathetic masses.

And just in case you fail to grasp the severity of this news let me try to put it into perspective for you. Yes, we know that the media is no stranger to generating a false sense of fear, insecurity, and panic. That’s part of Satan’s playbook too during these last days.

HOWEVER, I would propose that it’s a much different story when a story hasn’t gone mainstream yet and they’re issuing such sentiments because, after all, if the intention is merely “fear mongering”, then what good is it to engage in such when you know the story won’t be covered by the corporate mainstream media where it will generate the most buzz and panic?

With that being said, this is why I think you might want to pay close attention to this story and what the officials are saying about it. To reiterate, it’s not really in the mainstream right now at all, and that tells me that their pronouncements of grave concern are valid and should be heeded.

For instance, I’m sure by now you’ve all heard about this, but back on Monday, January 24th, there was a story getting wide distribution online that demonstrates that the federal government is preparing as if they know that something big -- something life altering and world changing -- is coming.

But this is something that goes beyond your basic “It’s Better To Be Safe Than Sorry” type of thing. Case in point, the Department of Homeland Security posted an “RFI For Pre-Packaged Commercial Meals” online. It was posted on January 20th, 2011 and it has a “Response Date” of February 3rd, 2011.

This is from the "Synopsis" section of that RFI...

“The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) procures and stores pre-packaged commercial meals to support readiness capability for immediate distribution to disaster survivors routinely. The purpose of this Request for Information is to identify sources of supply for meals in support of disaster relief efforts based on a catastrophic disaster event within the New Madrid Fault System for a survivor population of 7M to be utilized for the sustainment of life during a 10-day period of operations.”

There it is folks! They’re planning for a catastrophic disaster event within the New Madrid Fault System, aren't they? Why now all of a sudden? How can they be so sure?

Let’s not forget what we reported just last week either about the FAA’s GPS Flight Advisory in response to the Department of Defense’s “GPS Tests” for the Southeastern US from now until late February, or the very same region where the New Madrid Fault Line extends into. Is there any connection between these two reports?

Now, put this together with all the other strange news we’ve been getting for weeks about mass animal deaths in the area, unusual migratory patterns, strange weather, whatever, and then you add that to the fact that the government has been buying up long-term storage foods, has been prepping for food riots, and that Mountain House Foods are sold out nationwide.

As if that weren’t enough to get your “spiritual radar” buzzing, one report suggests that President Obama has ordered the US military to prepare for "food riots" this Spring. That linked article states that the US has partnered with her European allies (France in particular) to prepare for this eventuality. That got me thinking back a couple of years. I can only assume that perhaps -- just maybe -- it will be the European Gendarmerie Force (EGF) that would be used in such a case, which we exposed here back in October 2009...

Yep, that's right, the EU has a fully functioning international force of trained soldiers.

The European Gendarmerie Force (EGF) is an initiative of 5 EU Member States - France, Italy, The Netherlands, Portugal and Spain – aimed at improving the crisis management capability in sensitive areas. Since Wednesday, 17th December 2008, the High Level Interdepartmental Committee Meeting (CIMIN) decided to welcome the Romanian Gendarmerie to become a full member of the EGF. Therefore the EGF consists from that moment of 6 member states.

EGF responds to the need to rapidly conduct all the spectrum of civil security actions, either on its own or in parallel with the military intervention, by providing a multinational and effective tool.

The EGF will facilitate the handling of crisis that require management by police forces, usually in a critical situation

Furthermore, it is excellently suitable for deployment parallel with or immediately after a military operation to maintain public order and safety as well as in situations where local police services are not (sufficiently) deployed.

In case of an operation involving both military and police components, the EU’s action on Petersburg-tasks requires a strong synergy between the police and military components.

You might want to research that angle sometime.

For anyone who doubts the severity of the situation, or who questions the nearness of a "food crisis" (a coming reality that the Scriptures plainly speak of when we read about the “Black Horse” in Revelation), just stop for a minute and remember that there have been so many disasters that have befallen the world’s top Wheat growing nations this past year in places like China, India, Russia, France, Canada, Germany, Ukraine, Australia and Pakistan.

Not only have the vast majority of the world’s top Wheat producers been affected, but also one of the main Grain producing regions on the planet, South America, has been hit by disasters too where an historic drought has crippled Argentina, Bolivia, and Brazil.

Yes, even the United States has been hit as a catastrophic winter has seen 49 of our 50 States covered by snow causing unprecedented damage to crops in Florida due to freezing weather, and record setting rains have destroyed massive numbers of crops in the most important growing region of California.

Now, consider all of this in light of the "wars and rumors of war" we’re constantly hearing about that involve those very same parts of the world too. Of course, food has always been used as a weapon since the very beginning of time. Times may have changed, but fallen, sinful, human nature hasn’t. Food for thought (pun intended).

Do you see how God is bringing it all together just like He said that He would? All we hear in the news these days is global concern over Wheat exports and imports and one of the most famous, yet-to-be-fulfilled prophecies for the last days specifically mentions Wheat as being central to it’s fulfillment and aftermath as it’s tied to the global economy. Simply incredible to see it all unfold upon the world stage like this. Surreal times indeed!

I pray that you see it too because time is very short my friends. Very short. But don’t take my word for it. Again, we can see that there is not much more than needs to be done as far as “Satan’s schemes” are concerned. All the chess pieces are in place upon the world’s stage. Satan and his minions assume they are in complete control, and that they will checkmate the world, its inhabitants, and ultimately God Himself.

Psalm 2 reminds us...

One more quick comment related to this last segment on the news that’s connected to the prophecy involving the Black Horse from the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Those of you who don’t want to believe that men and women can be Satanically inspired, unknowing accomplices, and vessels for demonic pursuits (despite what the Bible tells us), don’t you think it’s VERY STRANGE how in the midst of all this dire news about a coming global food shortage we continue to get story after story about how the federal government is also cracking down on anyone who is growing and selling their own food -- mainly organic food?

Ask yourself why that is. Seriously. Just stop for a moment and think things through logically. Why would the government care whether or not you are growing and selling your own natural food on property you own? This is still America, right? And don’t tell me that they’re trying to protect citizens from people contaminating the US food supply. Really? The people being harassed are growing fruits and vegetables ORGANICALLY -- there are no chemicals in their food because they’re not using them!

No, it’s Big Business aligned with Big Government that are the ones using the “not-so-friendly-to-people” chemicals in the name of "food safety", which is really a cover for depopulation! I mean, why else would they want to put a stop to people growing, harvesting, selling, and eating foods that were much healthier for them?

The ONLY logical answer is the SAME ANSWER to all the things we expose here each and every day...THE BIBLE IS TRUE! THERE ARE EVIL FORCES IN THIS WORLD THAT SERVE SATAN AND HIS SINISTER SCHEMES! Unfortunately, I still have one more FEMA-related story for you today that should prove to you beyond a shadow of a doubt that our concerns about the previous FEMA-related news item are not unwarranted.

Ready for this? A new online video game created and sponsored by FEMA prepares kids for “Aliens/UFOs” and earthquakes! I kid you not.


How about that? Yes, an online video game recently released on the state of Illinois’ emergency preparedness website is said to be an earthquake preparedness game -- one that also just happens to include “Aliens” and “UFOs” though.

For years, many said that “Full Disclosure” by the government wouldn’t be so much a speech to the press, but a slow gradual process of barely recognizing their existence through small minor movements. Oh ok, like government games for kids perhaps? That’s precisely what this is --more mass conditioning to a coming reality (a demonic deception)! On the game’s website we’re told about the goal...

“Help Allen and Majel Irwin survive an earthquake by building a survival kit, finding all the safe and unsafe areas of their home, and learning to protect themselves!”

That's on the video game's Home Page. In the "About" section we find this...

This project was commissioned by the Illinois Terrorism Task Force (ITTF) and the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) to demonstrate a new educational approach for children to learn effective disaster preparedness and response strategies. The first simulation, "The Day the Earth Shook" focuses on preparing for an earthquake, such as one that could occur along the New Madrid or Wabash Valley Seismic Zones in southern Illinois.

The game was developed by the Electronic Visualization Lab (EVL) at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) and the Center for Public Safety and Justice -- Institute of Government and Public Affairs at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).

This project was prepared under a grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Grant Program Directorate (FEMA/GPD) within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

An interesting fact about "EVL", or the "Electronic Visualization Lab", responsible for this game is that it is supposedly going to play a key role in a future space mission to Jupiter's Moon Europa. You "Symbolism Junkies" will recall all the times in the past year or so when we highlighted NASA/Jupiter/Europa symbolism so that should be interesting to you.

FEMA Preparing Kids For MEGA-EARTHQUAKES And 'ALIENS/UFOs'!



An "Alien" savior? Are you kidding me? See, this is just what we've been expecting (and seeing so much of lately from Hollywood) and now a federal government agency known as FEMA has joined in.

Folks, seriously, what are the odds that in the span of a single week we have two FEMA-related news items that seem to suggest that they’re preparing for some major earthquake and/or catastrophic and unprecedented event here in the US?

I'd say this is FEMA fear mongering at its best. As Christians, we need to rest on the truth in response to such things...

Grand Piano, Grand Mystery

Ok, this is surreal! A quick study in symbolism is in order I think.

I know I just posted a lengthy piece, but I just had to reference this.

First, the two verses I can't stop thinking about right now (emphasis mine)...

Romans 11:25 (KJV) For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Grand Mystery As Piano Appears On Florida Sandbar

(CNN) -- Call it the latest piano bar, a large-scale mystery, or a whole new set of Florida Keys.

In Miami's Biscayne Bay, a grand piano has appeared -- perched on the highest point of a sandbar.

"We don't know how the piano got out there, we don't know who's responsible for putting the piano out there and at this point it's clearly a mystery," said Jorge Pino of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

And for now, it's staying put. Authorities told CNN they have no plans to remove it.
"What will probably happen is that the piano will just disintegrate because of the salt water and the salt air," said Pino, adding that it will not harm the wildlife.

The finding has struck a chord with residents and tourists, inspiring some to board their boats and check it out. But if they're planning to perform a concerto, their hopes will likely fall flat.

"This piano's so banged up you can't even bang out any tunes on it," reported Andre Hepkins of CNN affiliate WSVN, as he stood on the sandbar attempting to tickle the ivories.

The Miami Herald first alerted Pino to the mysterious piano last week, Pino told CNN. As word spread, theories took off. Was it a publicity stunt? A music video gone bad? A frustrated musician? A jilted lover trashing an ex's instrument?

A Miami New Times blog offered explanations such as "The Little Mermaid was not a work of fiction" and "the powers that be are trying new tricks to get your attention about the end of the world."

Pino has his own ideas. "The person who did this obviously did it as a prank in my opinion," he said, "and they are getting exactly what they wanted to get, which is the notoriety of knowing that their story went viral."

It is illegal to dump things into those waters, Pino said. "If you're caught doing it, you can be arrested."

But for now, the Department of Environmental Resources Management has not begun an investigation, spokesman Luis Espinoza told CNN. "We're keeping an eye on it, looking into how it might have gotten there," he said, adding that an official investigation is "possible."

In November 2008 a piano was mysteriously discovered in Harwich, Massachusetts, by a woman who was walking a trail in the middle of the woods. That piano -- an upright, not a grand -- perplexed authorities. A CNN call Wednesday to Harwich police to find out if that mystery was ever solved was not immediately returned.

Biscayne Bay is home to commerce and tourism. The National Park Service describes it as "a shallow estuary, a place where freshwater from the land mixes with salt water from the sea and life abounds. It serves as a nursery where infant and juvenile marine life reside."

Pino said the piano was found on the sandbar well out into the water, less than a half-mile from the shore. "It's amazing that somebody would go through the trouble" of hauling "a 650-pound piece of equipment" out that far -- even one that's "not in good shape," he said.

Still, Pino said, "there's a lot worse things in the water."

"We know of a car...that somebody years ago dumped into the water, and the vehicle stayed there. And, as it turns out, the vehicle is quite the habitat for lobster now."

Pino added, "There's odd things in the water all the time -- shopping carts and tires and all kinds of stuff that people just decide to dump out there."

Ready for the surreal part?

Incredibly, it was APPROXIMATELY 1 YEAR AGO (February 7th, 2010) when we looked at some unusual symbolism in connection with an obscure Billy Joel song (he is famous for his songs that he sings while playing a piano!) that mentioned both Miami, FL (where this "mystery piano" was discovered) and New York City in the aftermath of some dark, unprecedented end times sounding event!

It might be a good idea to re-read that commentary...

Folks, what are the odds of that kind of "spiritual convergence" though!?! Now, please go back and re-read those two Scripture verses I opened with.

It's things like this that prompted me to write the following note along with the new feature to this website along the right hand side of this page called "1 Year Ago This Week" that says...

There have been quite a few of us watchmen on the wall who seem to notice that the things the Lord leads us to research and write about end up being most relevant a year after the fact. That being said, here are the commentaries/studies that appeared on this website from 1 year ago this week...

Without a doubt, today's news made me think of that Billy Joel piece. How could it not? In addition, I'm wondering if we need to re-visit another study we did just a few months ago too...

All Eyes On Miami?

Yes, I know that these kinds of posts are highly subjective and therefore need to be taken with a grain of salt in comparison with the weightier matters of our shared faith. Still, you can't tell me that you aren't experiencing goosebumps over the apparent symbolism here.

I mean, for crying out loud, I just published an in-depth Bible Study before this post that spent a lot of time examining the possible nearness of a Rapture event (regular readers can attest to the fact that I rarely write about the Rapture).

Plus, my dear friends, if we break this unusual story down to its most basic components we have this (in addition to everything else I mentioned so far)...

> I read that and I take "pressing a key" and "felt-covered hammer to strike steel" and "allowing the strings to continue vibrating" portions of that description and it makes me thing of the process we all experience as we mature in our Christian faith; a process that demands that "no servant is greater than his master" (John 15:20) on the path to refinement, or "spiritual maturity", or sanctification.

> I read about how the sound that a piano emits is caused by the acoustic energy that's generated flowing "into the air" and immediately think of 1 Thessalonians 4:17 (NIV) After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

> I read the piano description about "inharmonicity of the strings" and "string stiffness" and instantly recalled what Pastor Armstrong's presentation asserted about the Body of Christ needing to collectively pursue holiness and righteousness (see previous post for specifics) before the Rapture can occur as well as the word "hasten" and what we discovered (also in the previous post)! The parallels are astounding, aren't they?

See what I mean though? I see "Rapture" resonating with this strange story. Such is the nature of being a Christian who views the world from a Biblical perspective and through the prism of prophecy I suppose. Oh well.

Pray for wisdom and discernment.

A Calling, A Warning, A Revelation, A Word

I wasn't going to introduce this piece by referencing current events and headlines. However, upon closer examination, they seemed to be a good fit. Please bear with me.

Regardless of your personal views on the Rapture, I want us all to assume for a moment that such an event is Biblical, and that it is the "escape" that Jesus Himself told us to pray for as recorded for us in the Gospel of Luke (Luke 21:36).

There are some who believe that such an event (the Rapture) will happen just prior to the beginning of the end (or just prior to the start of Daniel's 70th Week, those final 7 years, and the first 3.5 years known as the Tribulation). If that's the case, then recent world events that are shaping up around the world lately got me thinking about the uniqueness of a message I received awhile back that discussed the timing of the Rapture, and I wanted to share it with all of you to get some serious discussion going here.

First, the news that demands our attention. Tragedy strikes Moscow, Russia Monday as at least 31 people were killed and 130 were wounded in a suicide blast at Domodedovo Airport...

Russian officials branded the bombing a "terrorist attack" and President Dmitry Medvedev vowed that those behind the explosion would be "tracked down and punished" too.

No surprise there, but every time something like this happens in Russia, don't you just hold your breath in anticipation that they will probably (one of these times) announce a discovered "Israeli connection" to the attack, and that will be what prompts them to implement their "Pre-Emptive Nuclear Strike" doctrine of war perhaps in the fulfillment of the ancient Ezekiel 38-39 prophecy about the Gog-Magog Attack/Attempted Invasion? I mean, as of today, Putin has revealed that Chechnya separatists are not suspected in the Russian airport blast as expected, based on preliminary information. Hmmm....

Of course, should that prove to be the case here, then we should also expect to see a fulfillment of the Psalm 83 War, or a regional war between Israel and her Arab enemies that surround her, first and just prior to the Gog-Magog battle.

Who would be surprised if such a scenario were to play out upon the world stage soon with the recent collapse of the Lebanese government? After all, news reports are coming in that give us further indication that this is very serious business, or geo-political developments with major prophetic implications...

Hezbollah, the armed Iranian-Syrian terrorist proxy, is resorting to all sorts of force, terrorism, intimidation, threats, bribery, division, sectarianism, and instigation to install a new puppet government in Lebanon after toppling on January 13/2010 the Hariri national unity one in response to direct orders from its two Axis of Evil supporters, Syria and Iran.

In a report that was published today in the Kuwaiti daily Alseyiasi, veteran analyst and journalist Hamid Gheriafi wrote that many Western and Arabic countries have been lately issuing urgent travel warnings cautioning their citizens who are residing in Lebanon to take the highest required measures to avoid being targeted by Syria's and Hezbollah's armed groups and advising them not to travel deep into Lebanon's southern and Bekaa Valley regions or to go to Beirut areas where there are Sunni Shiite tensions.

The report stated that the whole democratic and Free World and the majority of the Arab countries are extremely concerned that Tehran's and Damascus's allies could take full control of the Lebanese state and all of its institutions, including both the army and internal security forces. USA, European countries, England, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and many other countries have been conducting around the clock consultations on the highest level to abort this vicious Syrian- Iranian scheme. The Syrian-Iran full control of Lebanon will impose a dire threat to all the Arab countries, Israel, and Europe.

Mr. Gheriafi learned from reliable European Intelligence sources in Brussels that at least two well equipped Western military fleets were urgently ordered to move from the Arabian Gulf to positions close to both Syria and Lebanon in the Mediterranean Sea with strict instructions to fully monitor and watch the unfolding events in Lebanon, especially in case Hezbollah, backed by Syria and Iran, succeeds in taking over the new Lebanese government.

The intelligence sources did not unveil the identity of the Western fleets, but confirmed that they comprise two nuclear aircraft carriers with 210 jet fighter planes on board, and more than 30 ships carrying about 5,800 marines armed with the latest technologies.

The same sources said that the Israeli air and navy forces have been on a high alert status since last Friday after Lebanon's Druze Leader, MP Walid Jumblat, decided to join Hezbollah and Syria with his parliamentary block, giving them the upper hand and a parliamentary majority that enables them to form a new pro-Syrian and -Iranian government, killing all chances for caretaker PM Saad Hariri to return as a PM.

A new Hezbollah-controlled government will cut all Lebanon’s legal and financial relations with the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) and force the country to fully join the Axis of Evil terrorist front comprised of Syria, Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah. The STL is expected to indict members from Hezbollah, Iran and Syria for the assassination of late Lebanese PM Raffic Hariri and dozens of high ranking Lebanese politicians, clergy, journalists and intellectuals.

Meanwhile, Israel's PM Netanyahu, his deputy and other high ranking officials expressed their very serious concerns in regard to the looming possibility that Lebanon will have a pro-Syrian and -Iranian government fully controlled by the terrorist Hezbollah and its allies.

The USA administration and both Houses are looking seriously into the dreadful hazards that could affect both the peace process and stability in the Middle East, in case Hezbollah succeeds in forming and fully controlling Lebanon's new government. The Obama administration will most probably halt all kinds of aid to Lebanon and even impose harsh sanctions.

In this same context, all the 18 countries with troops participating in the UNIFIL forces deployed in South Lebanon on the Lebanese-Israeli border are extremely concerned about their safety. These countries are definitely going to reevaluate their participation in UNIFIL, as well their aid to Lebanon once Hezbollah's government is in office.

In conclusion: The Free World and the Arabic countries have an obligation to help the Lebanese people by all available means, including military forces in a bid to stop Iran and Syria, through its armed terrorist proxy, Hezbollah, from taking over Lebanon and turning it into an arena for evil wars against all the democracies in the world. The confrontation with the Axis of Evil is inevitable and now it is the right time to act before it is too late and before a new Nazi dragon starts goose stepping in to devour all the Arab countries and Europe.


Iranian Warships Coming To Mediterranean And Red Seas

Less than 24 hours after the breakdown of its nuclear dialogue with the six world powers in Istanbul, Iran announced plans Sunday, Jan. 23, to send a fleet of warships, including a home-made destroyer, on operational and intelligence-gathering missions to the Red Sea and on to the Mediterranean through the Suez Canal.

Parts of the fleet will in fact be deployed in the three waters around Israel's southern and western shores. Tehran is taking advantage of the lack of military and diplomatic momentum on the part of US and Israel for a naval thrust to expand its range of operations and encroach on their areas of control.

It is also a rapid response to the arrival of the USS Enterprise carrier with a strike group carrying 6,000 sailors and marines and 80 warplanes in the Mediterranean at the end of last week on its way to the Arabian Sea opposite Iran. British ex-Prime Minister Tony Blair's call on the West to stop apologizing and react to Iran with force was not lost on the rulers of the Islamic Republic.

How can we read such news stories and not think of the following specific warning -- from Jesus Himself -- about a sign of the last days?

Matthew 24:6 (KJV) And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Mark 13:7 (KJV) And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for [such things] must needs be; but the end [shall] not [be] yet.

I'd say that's a pretty straightforward connection and fulfillment, wouldn't you?

But even the apparent (although admittedly subjective) prophetic symbolism found in other Israel-related stories seem to suggest we're on the cusp of the beginning of the end.

Recently, Israel mourned the death of a wife, or the death of a one time bride, which I shouldn't have to tell you calls to our minds all the times that God's Word refers to His body of believers as His Bride, right? Furthermore, even the words uttered by President Shimon Peres echoed such thoughts.

President Peres: Sonia Was And Will Always Be The Love Of My Life

Thousands of people, including state dignitaries and friends, attended the funeral of Sonia Peres, the wife of President Shimon Peres, in Ben Shemen on Friday, a day after she passed away in her sleep at the age of 87.

In his eulogy, the president described his late wife of 65 years as a paragon of modesty and sincerity, "she had her own path and never strayed. This path was characterized by both the wisdom of the heart and the wisdom of her fellow man."

"I loved her at first sight. She is the love of my life. And that love will remain in my heart until my eyes shall close," Peres said. "I learned from her more than I could ever teach her."

"Her number one tenet was be yourself, without façade, without hypocrisy, without asking for anything in return," Peres said, emphasizing his wife's life-long devotion to philanthropy.

"Her first tenet – be yourself, without a shred of forgery, without a shred of hypocrisy, without asking for anything in return," Peres said, emphasizing his wife's life-long devotion to philanthropy.

"No matter what, it was the downtrodden and the weak who she believed were the most deserving of attention. She loved the country. Never wanted to be lifted above the people, always wanted to be part of it," the president said, adding that most of her work was done far from the public eye.

Peres said that Sonia raised the couple's children using the same standard she had for herself: "Always speak the truth, don’t ask for anything."

Concluding, the president said: "This is a very difficult time for me, and I cannot say all that is in my heart. But I am so proud that God gave me an opportunity to live with this woman…. To me, she was what a human being was supposed to be."

Even a deeper symbolic (and subjective) analysis reveals so much I think...

On Friday night's broadcast of Right Now Radio, I opened the show with some words that are generally not a part of the weekly introduction.

In light of what I'm going to share with you next, it seems as if this was no accident at all because such content goes hand-in-hand with today's presentation. What a surprise, huh?


A CALLING...


It all centered on something we find in Ephesians...

Ephesians 4:13 (KJV) Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Ephesians 4:13 (NIV) until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Perfect unity will not occur until we all believe and know, and therefore act, like Jesus Christ.

This is why this humble online ministry goes over the same territory so often -- because we have not reached perfect unity yet, and so this ministry keeps on preaching. It is its job, and if the preaching of it becomes trite, repetitive, boring -- sorry, that is the ministry's job.

It’s the same way with Ministers and Pastors. Pastors have to keep going over it until the perfect man is produced in the body of Christ. We will never reach such a state in this life, so church members should get used to hearing the same old Sermons every week.

Sure, it's hoped that Pastors can come at it from new angles, provide deeper knowledge, and maybe even explain things in a little bit better way each time. But God, who gave the ministry this goal, desires that we strive to attain it, and so the ministry, if it is going to be faithful, will keep on preaching because it is in everyone's best interest that it do so.

1 Corinthians 9:16 (NIV) Yet when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, for I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!

1 Corinthians 9:18 (NIV) What then is my reward? Just this: that in preaching the gospel I may offer it free of charge, and so not make use of my rights in preaching it.

Notice the attitude with which Paul presents his message here: He says that he had a need to preach the Gospel. He is saying, "I've got to preach this. And if I don't, I'd better hide under a rock somewhere!" His approach to preaching the Gospel was that lightning could strike at any time if he stopped preaching it.

Remember how Jesus started the ministry entrusted to him -- by blinding him out in the middle of the road to Damascus! What Jesus did made quite an impression on him. Paul probably thought about that often, and about what would happen if he stopped doing the charge that had been laid upon him.

So, a true Pastor feels a compulsion to preach the Gospel. On the flipside, he feels a certain doom if he does not. He feels as though, if he tried anything else, he would be a fish out of water. In him would be an emptiness that was not being filled because the ministry of Jesus Christ is a calling.

To a true Minister of God, it is not just a job done for a paycheck, but a vocation that he feels compelled to do because the truth must be preached. The information cannot remain in his mind. Uncommunicated knowledge and understanding of God's way is absolutely useless to anybody else; it cannot help anybody take even one step along the road to the Kingdom of God.

This is why God gives Pastors mouths to speak. Paul calls it "the foolishness of preaching" in 1 Corinthians 1:21, but God accomplishes a great deal through it. The serious, devoted servant of Jesus Christ must do it. He just must!

It's almost like a man who has just walked out of the desert and has not had anything to eat or drink. He feels compelled, obviously, to find something to satisfy his need -- particularly to drink. A true Pastor of God feels this way if he has not preached the truth in a long while. A "pressure" builds up after a time, and if it is not released, it explodes. The truth must be passed on because a compulsion from God Himself drives a true Minister to speak the truth.

This may be dramatizing it a bit, but there is a feeling in a true Pastor's gut to let other people know the truth that he has been given to preach. What does the Pastor get out of it? What does Paul say that he got from it? In verse 18, he says that, when he preached the truth, other people were helped. He was able to preach the Gospel in love, without charge. He didn’t need anything for it personally because he was driven from the inside -- not the outside. Thus, it made him feel good, and it relieved that God-sent pressure and gave him the satisfaction that he had done his job.

I mention all of this for a good reason. Whether you ultimately agree or disagree with the message that a certain Pastor delivered recently about the Rapture (one that you'll hear and see in a moment), let's try to remember that he does come across as a sincere brother in Christ and his end times studies do nothing to contradict the fundamental tenets of our shared faith. All he's doing is applying what we read in the Word of God...

Matthew 24:42 (NIV) Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.

Sure, we can disagree about the "date-setting" stuff you'll get a heavy dose of from him, but what about the general content as it pertains to his unique warning, and the resulting word study it led me to?

That's what I would like you to be mindful of as you work your way through this post. So, please keep that in mind before we get started here.

It's also something I've been prayerfully considering and thinking about for days now ever since I began working on this and I hope you will do the same so that we can come up with some definitive conclusions together on this.


A WARNING...


I never heard of Pastor Sandy Armstrong until just a few months ago. Thanks to a friend from this online community of believers in Jesus Christ all of that changed and I'm glad it did.

Look, I know I post a ton of material on LUF (especially a lot of videos that take time to watch) and that a lot of times it's difficult to keep up with it all. What can I say? I'm just trying to follow His lead. Still, aren't these the types of things we should be spending our time on -- the time that God Himself gave us?

I also know that I always try to encourage you all to take the time to prayerfully consider everything that appears here, but this is one of those instances where you'll want to MAKE THE TIME to listen to this prophetic message, and MAKE THE TIME to prayerfully consider what you hear.

Trust me, even if you ultimately don't agree with what this Pastor has to say, listening to this and spending time in God's Word, is still better than anything else you could be doing and most definitely better than 100% of the things you could find on TV right now.

First, this is how his message is described...

This message is to the world, this message will bring eternal life to those who will hear it. Many warnings have gone out but few have taken heed to them, the great day of separation has come. To all those who are committing spiritual and natural fornication STOP NOW! Or you shall not enter into God's glory. Of course, that should remind us of a whole host of passages in Scripture...

We've looked at the virgins who didn't keep their lamp lit from the Gospel of Matthew and speculated on the potential connection to the Rapture from that account, but this is a slightly different take using Nineveh as an example. Now, as compelling as all of that is, I'm sure that there are many of you who are like me who appreciate the enthusiasm and the passion from another brother in Christ (since we're supposed to be fervently watching and yearning for Jesus' return), but who also cringe whenever "date-setting" occurs because we know what is likely to follow from the non-believing world. Plus, we're hesitant to get too excited because of passages like this...

Matthew 24:36 (KJV) But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Even so, that doesn't mean that we should discard everything we heard, does it? Surely, the Lord will use this somehow to speak something of value, some truth, into the lives of those who love Him who have ears to hear and eyes to see, especially if it's rooted in His Word, right? I believe it is. I believe He will.

In addition, Pastor Armstrong makes some claims that will certainly be viewed as being "controversial" by some. But are they Biblical? Well, what are some of those claims? We need to look at them first before we can decide.


A REVELATION...

Simply put, knowing that the Old Testament is a foreshadowing of the future, he makes the same application to today, and he's saying that some of us within the Body of Christ are "ceremonially unclean" (using Numbers 9 as his model), and that we're being "given every opportunity" to become "clean" before the Rapture will occur. If there's a "dead body" in the land, then we can't "celebrate" just yet.

These are the key verses he highlights to make his case (emphasis mine)...

Numbers 9:6-11 (KJV) And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they could not keep the passover on that day: and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day: And those men said unto him, We are defiled by the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season among the children of Israel? And Moses said unto them, Stand still, and I will hear what the LORD will command concerning you. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD. The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

Do you see what he's pointing out here? This idea of "waiting until the second month" is also found in 2 Chronicles (emphasis mine)...

2 Chronicles 30:1-3 (KJV) And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel. For the king had taken counsel, and his princes, and all the congregation in Jerusalem, to keep the passover in the second month. For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves sufficiently, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.

That's interesting, isn't it? Being ceremonially unclean, defiled, a dead body, sanctification, and waiting are the common themes emerging here. But wait! There's more!

He also cites 2 Samuel 2:8-? too (emphasis mine)...

2 Samuel 2:8-11 (KJV) But Abner the son of Ner, captain of Saul's host, took Ishbosheth the son of Saul, and brought him over to Mahanaim; And made him king over Gilead, and over the Ashurites, and over Jezreel, and over Ephraim, and over Benjamin, and over all Israel. Ishbosheth Saul's son was forty years old when he began to reign over Israel, and reigned two years. But the house of Judah followed David. And the time that David was king in Hebron over the house of Judah was seven years and six months.

Armstrong uses this passage to demonstrate the link between David and Jesus Christ as David being a "forerunner" and "foreshadowing" (or a "simulation") of the coming of Jesus Christ. In doing so, he says that there will come a time in the future when Jesus -- another "David" -- will be "King in Hebron over the house of Judah" and for "seven years and six months" too.

He then goes on to call our attention to something in the Gospel of Luke that he believes is connected to this too (emphasis mine)...

Luke 1:26-33 (KJV) And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name [was] Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, [thou that art] highly favoured, the Lord [is] with thee: blessed [art] thou among women. And when she saw [him], she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Armstrong says that before Jesus can be physically crowned "King of kings" in Jerusalem, He must first rule over Hebron for 7 years and 6 months. He then says that Hebron is considered to be us, or the Gentile church, because we are the Gentile church.

I'm going off on a tangent, aren't I? Sorry, I don't mean to. A lot of this was already covered in the above video presentation. I'm just trying to fully explain this "7 Years, 6 Months" thing we find in the Bible and try to explain why so many Christians like him not only believe that it's prophetically relevant somehow, but that it's DIRECTLY connected to the Rapture too.



Probably the best way I can sum this up is to say that they believe that the absolute key to the timing of the Rapture was purposely hidden in the life of King David. The key to understanding the timing of the Rapture then is for us to study this "7 Years, 6 Months" component too.

So, what do we make of all of this? It is rather interesting and I'd say worthy of the time that the Lord has entrusted to you. Plus, given the fact that the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian dispute was back in the news on Monday along with everything else, it seems rather timely too (because it ties in with Armstrong's presentation particularly near the end of Part 3 regarding the Gog-Magog prophecy)...

Leaked Documents Show Palestinian Peace Concessions

JERUSALEM (JTA) -- Palestinian peace negotiators were willing to turn over nearly all of the Jewish neighborhoods in eastern Jerusalem and accept a shared authority of the Temple Mount, leaked Palestinian documents reveal.

More than 1,600 Palestinian documents about the peace process with Israel were leaked to the Qatar-based Al Jazeera network, which shared them with Britain's The Guardian newspaper. They began appearing Sunday night in the two media outlets.

According to the documents, Palestinian chief negotiator Saeb Erekat told U.S. officials that the Palestinians were giving Israel "the biggest Yerushalayim in history," The Guardian reported.

They show that during negotiations in 2008 and 2009, Palestinian negotiators offered Israel all of the Jewish neighborhoods in eastern Jerusalem, with the exception of Har Homa, which now has 20,000 residents. PLO leaders also suggested trading parts of the eastern Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah for land located elsewhere, according to The Guardian.

The Palestinian negotiators also proposed a joint committee to take over the Jewish and Palestinian holy sites on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

The documents show that the Palestinians agreed that Israel would take 10,000 Palestinians refugees under the right of return and that they would recognize Israel as a Jewish state. In addition, Israel offered to transfer Israeli Arabs to the Palestinian state.

They also reveal that Palestinian Authority leaders in the West Bank, including President Mahmoud Abbas, were warned in advance about the Gaza war, which began in December 2008 and lasted for one month.

The documents reportedly were leaked over several months from more than one source, according to a Guardian editors' statement. The identity of the leakers is being protected by Al Jazeera and The Guardian.


Middle East Peace Talks Leaks: 20 Years Of Inconclusive Negotiations

Palestinians accuse Israel of using the negotiations as diplomatic cover to build more Jewish settlements on occupied land and deny them the chance of ever having a state of their own.

Israel says Palestinian violence and the rejection of generous peace deals it has offered in the past are to blame.

The following is a timeline of negotiations since 1991.

1991 – After the Palestine Liberation Organisation signals its willingness to recognise Israel, the United States sponsors an international conference in Madrid to push for peace between Israel and the Palestinians. The three-day talks, the first time Israeli, Palestinian and Arab officials have held face-to-face talks, pave the way for continued negotiations the following year.

1993 – Secret talks between Israel and the PLO result in the Oslo accords. With Bill Clinton looking on at an emotional White House ceremony, leaders from both sides agree to Palestinian self-rule in parts of the West Bank and Gaza and pledge to work to a full peace deal within five years. Yasser Arafat, the PLO leader, Yitzak Rabin, the Israeli prime minister and Shimon Peres, his foreign minister, go on to win the Nobel Peace Prize.

1995 – Arafat and Rabin sign the Taba Accords (also known as Oslo II), expanding Palestinian self-rule in the Occupied Territories. Six weeks later, Rabin is assassinated by a right-wing Israeli opposed to the concessions he has offered the Palestinians.

1997 – Benjamin Netanyahu, serving in his first term as Israeli prime minister, agrees to withdraw troops from 80 per cent of Hebron. But a fifth of the West Bank city remains in the hands of just several hundred Jewish settlers.

1998 – The two sides sign the Wye River memorandum. Israel pledges to withdraw from more West Bank territory, while the Palestinian Authority promises to fight terrorism. The build up to the agreement is marred by tension between Mr Netanyahu and Bill Clinton, who saw the Israeli prime minister as an uncompromising hawk.

1999 – Ehud Barak becomes Israeli prime minister and pledges to establish peace.

2000 – Efforts to reach a peace deal fail after intensive negotiations at Camp David. The Clinton administration apportions most of the blame to Arafat. The second intifada breaks out after opposition leader Ariel Sharon makes a controversial visit to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

George W Bush wins the US presidential election. Before he leaves office, Bill Clinton sets out a series of proposals bridging the Palestinian and Israeli positions. The "Clinton Parameters" have been regarded as a basis for all negotiations ever since.

2001 – Sharon becomes Israeli prime minister. Violence worsens as Palestinian terror attacks and Israeli military strikes escalate.

2002 – The Arab League offers to recognise Israel if it withdraws from occupied territory, allows the creation of a Palestinian state and finds a just solution to the Palestinian refugee issue.

2003 – The Quartet for Middle East Peace, comprising the UN, the United States, the EU and Russia publishes a "road map". It lays out steps to end the violence and resume negotiations.

2004 – Arafat dies.

2005 – Mahmoud Abbas is elected to succeed Arafat and agrees a mutual ceasefire with Sharon.

2006 – Hamas wins Palestinian parliamentary elections, prompting the international community to cut off aid to the Palestinian Authority. Ehud Olmert becomes Israeli prime minister.

Israel launches a military operation against Hizbollah militants in Lebanon.

2007 – Hamas seizes control of Gaza in a violent control with Abbas's Fatah faction, which becomes the governing authority in the West Bank. Israeli and Palestinian negotiators meet at an international conference in Annapolis, Maryland and promise to reach a full peace deal within a year.

2008 – Israel mounts a military operation against Hamas in Gaza. More than 1,000 Palestinians and 13 Israelis are killed. Barack Obama is elected US president and pledges to make the peace process a priority.

2009 – Netanyahu becomes Israeli prime minister again and recognises the right of Palestinian statehood for the first time. But he refuses to freeze Jewish settlement construction in the West Bank and East Jerusalem and talks remain suspended. At the end of the year, Netanyahu agrees a limited moratorium on settlement construction in the West Bank but not West Jerusalem.

2010 – Direct talks resume for the first time in nearly two years, but collapse almost immediately after Netanyahu declines to extend the moratorium, despite intense US pressure.


FM On Leaked Papers: Radical Islam Is The True Threat

LONDON - Lieberman says Hamas, not settlements, are the biggest danger to the PA in meeting with British counterpart; Hague says occupation, "illegal settlements" are "eroding international support for Israel."

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman responded to "The Palestine Papers" in a meeting with British Foreign Secretary William Hague on Monday, saying that radical Islam, not Israel, is the biggest threat to the Palestinians.

"The central problem of the Middle East is not settlements, but rather the extreme Muslim radicals that threaten regional stability," Lieberman said. "The recent events in Tunisia, Algier, Lebanon and Iraq are not connected to the negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians. The true threat to the Palestinian Authority's leadership is not Israel, but Hamas and Jihad."

It's like the words from the pages of the Bible have come to life before our very eyes, isn't it?

Psalm 122:6-7 (NIV) Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels."

Luke 21:20-22 (NIV) When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written.

See what I mean? Impeccable timing for this study to come up now even though it was presented back in mid-November 2010, or 2 months ago.

On the surface, it's easy to get confused by what he's saying. The point that needs to be made is that whenever the Rapture is discussed it is not in any way, shape, or form connected to one's salvation! This is often what many Christians think. The RAPTURE is an "escape" of sorts from what's about to come upon the earth for a season (7 years to be exact) at some point during that 7-year period (depending on your views). SALVATION is an escape of sorts from what awaits every sinner who is destined for eternity in Hell without repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. But both are two completely different things. Let's make sure we all understand this before moving on.

In a sense, what Armstrong is saying sounds an awful lot like Ty Lamb's study as presented in his Biblical, thought-provoking book Three Raptures: Exploring The Possibilities, which we've discussed here awhile back (I should probably re-read it again, huh?)...

Folks, I don't believe that's a coincidence at all. Actually, I'm wondering if there's a lot of truth to this, but I also admit that I need to spend more time studying this because this is just my initial assessment.

I'll explain why in the next segment, but in order to wrap up this one, I think the key to understanding all of this at this point is to explain it like this: Works are produced not as a means of salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9), but AS FRUIT to demonstrate true faith (James 2:17; James 2:20) as well as it being a show of obedience (John 14:23; ), and, therefore, also a conscious act of reverence toward a holy, sovereign Lord.


A WORD...


Incredibly, as if it were "meant to be" (although I hesitate to state that that's what this was because I don't want to elevate my own subjective "personal experiences" above what the Scriptures tell us), I came across something else in my devotional reading the other morning "by accident" that surprised me.

To be more specific, it bothered me because it challenged me, and it stuck with me all day. It wasn't until I came across this message from Pastor Sandy Armstrong when I began to wonder if the two are somehow intricately connected.

That devotional was built off of this portion of the text...

2 Peter 3:11-12 (KJV) [Seeing] then [that] all these things shall be dissolved, what manner [of persons] ought ye to be in [all] holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

2 Peter 3:11-12 (NIV) Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.

Did you catch the part that gave my fits?

The KJV uses the word "hasting", the NIV uses "speed its coming", and other translations render it as "hasten" even.

Ok, but so what, right? Well, not so fast! But before we can dissect this further, let's take a look at the definition of the word...

haste [heyst]
noun, verb, hast·ed, hast·ing.

1. swiftness of motion; speed; celerity: He performed his task with great haste. They felt the need for haste.

2. urgent need of quick action; a hurry or rush: to be in haste to get ahead in the world.

3. unnecessarily quick action; thoughtless, rash, or undue speed: Haste makes waste.

5. make haste, to act or go with speed; hurry: She made haste to tell the president the good news.

Are you starting to see where I'm going with this?

"Hasting" is Strong's #4692, or "speudō" (emphasis mine)...

1. to haste, make haste
2. to desire earnestly

Luke 2:16 (KJV) And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.

Luke 19:5-6 (KJV) And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house

Acts 20:16 (KJV) For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.

Acts 22:18 (KJV) And saw him saying unto me, Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me.

An exposition of any of these verses reveals much that is relevant to today's study.

For instance, we read the word "haste" (or any of its renderings) and should think one of two things: The dangerous condition of a sinner requires haste unto repentance. The glorious gift to believers requires haste unto spiritual maturity and sanctification. At least, that's what my mind thought of at this point in this study.

Consequently, such an understanding must be close to the truth because soon I was led to these powerful statements in regards to one example of the word "haste" that is found in Luke 19:5-6 ...

Our Lord invites Himself, and in "royal" style, which waits not for invitations, but as the honor is done to the subject, not the sovereign, announces the purpose of royalty to partake of the subject's hospitalities. Manifestly our Lord speaks as knowing how the privilege would be appreciated.

Luke 19:1-10 Those who sincerely desire a sight of Christ, like Zaccheus, will break through opposition, and take pains to see him. Christ invited himself to Zaccheus' house. Wherever Christ comes he opens the heart, and inclines it to receive him. He that has a mind to know Christ, shall be known of him. Those whom Christ calls, must humble themselves, and come down. We may well receive him joyfully, who brings all good with him. Zaccheus gave proofs publicly that he was become a true convert. He does not look to be justified by his works, as the Pharisee; but by his good works he will, through the grace of God, show the sincerity of his faith and repentance. Zaccheus is declared to be a happy man, now he is turned from sin to God. Now that he is saved from his sins, from the guilt of them, from the power of them, all the benefits of salvation are his. Christ is come to his house, and where Christ comes he brings salvation with him. He came into this lost world to seek and to save it. His design was to save, when there was no salvation in any other. He seeks those that sought him not, and asked not for him.

As important as all of that is to understanding what I think Pastor Sandy Armstrong is trying to tell us, there's another question that I think is even more critical for us to try and answer here.

Is it possible for us to speed up the Second Coming as 2 Peter 3:11-12 seems to suggest? Can we speed it up by a decade? By a year? By an hour? If so, then does this conflict with our understanding of God's sovereignty, or no?

As remarkable as it seems, the Bible does seem to indicate that we can indeed "hasten" His coming. But how? Ready for this? This is where things start to come together for us beautifully.

How can we "hasten" His coming? First, by godly living. That's Peter's point here (and I believe Pastor Armstrong and Ty Lamb's too!). As the NIV puts it, "You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming", and that's RIGHT IN LINE with what Pastor Armstrong is saying in the above videos.

How can we "hasten" His coming? Second, by zealous evangelism. Jesus said the Gospel would be preached in all the world, and then the end would come (Matthew 24:14). According to 2 Peter 3:9, or just a few verses prior to the ones serving as our foundation for this portion of our study, God is delaying His coming to give more people time to repent and be saved. So, the Second Coming is linked with the Great Commission.

How can we "hasten" His coming? Third, we can hasten His coming by prayer. The last promise and prayer of the Bible is found in Revelation 22:20 where it says, "He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus."

Even though it sounds an awful lot like it, this is not some kind of pro-"Dominion Theology" puff piece that is trying to suggest that we need to "advance and establish His 'Kingdom come' on earth" before Christ can return. Christ can return at any time of His choosing -- not ours. It's not up to us, it's up to God.

Still, how do we reconcile what God's Word CLEARLY says about "haste", "hasten", and "hastening" with what we CLEARLY know about his sovereign nature? Well, to reiterate, Jesus Christ can return at any time of His choosing -- not ours. It's not up to us, it's up to God. However, we can "speed up" the process it seems, but by "how much" is only for God to know -- not for us to know (Deuteronomy 29:29).

This may or may not be the year Jesus Christ comes, but this can certainly be the year we "hasten" His coming. Maybe that's the point. It's just another responsibility we have as Christians saved by grace through faith.

For now, that's the conclusion find myself reaching. Where any "confusion", "discrepancies", or "misunderstanding" appears to exist when attempting to digest this topic is precisely the point when we need to rely on what we already know...

I realize I've already thrown a lot at you, but marvel with me for one final moment over all of this please. It could be important.

The fact of the matter is that 2 Peter 3:11-12 talks about the importance of living godly, holy, and righteous lives as we look forward to what's coming because doing so will somehow "quicken" the process -- just as Pastor Armstrong's message asserts! What are the odds of that!?! Doesn't that suggest that we're on to something here?

Earlier, we began this piece by examining one's calling particularly as it applies to Preachers. We focused on Ephesians 4:13 and what that verse tells us about the pursuit of perfect unity in this life. Any study on unity will invariably lead us to division.

Truth is, we all want to be in God's Kingdom, yet, it’s obvious that the church has not reached perfect unity, and in fact, some of us have even regressed. We can easily see this because, though Christ is not divided, the church is.

Here's the thing though. We have divisions, and divisions are there to prove who is on His side. Paul says there must be disagreements, divisions, factions, heresies, and schisms in the church because they expose, or make manifest, those who are really following Christ. We get that from 1 Corinthians...

1 Corinthians 11:19 (KJV) For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

1 Corinthians 11:19 (NIV) No doubt there have to be differences among you to show which of you have God's approval.

The goal is that there be no divisions...

1 Corinthians 12:25 (KJV) That there should be no schism in the body; but [that] the members should have the same care one for another.

1 Corinthians 12:25 (NIV) so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other.

...but Paul tells us that there will be, and that is the way God set up the church.

Always remember that. God allowed for it to be this way because He is sovereign, and because it serves His purposes, and so that He would ultimately receive all the glory, honor, and praise in the fulfillment of His plans for humanity, or His creation. Yes, even if we can't quite seem to discern the "why" behind it all. Our ways are not His ways. Our mind is not His mind.

I bring this up in closing for two good reasons, and only one of them can be true...

1. Being called to preach the truth, Pastor Sandy Armstrong feels compelled to share this message with the world because IT'S THE TRUTH, and God intends for some of us to hear it ASAP so that 1 Corinthians 11:19 and 1 Corinthians 12:25 (amongst many other prophetic verses) will be fulfilled.

2. Being called to preach the truth, Pastor Sandy Armstrong feels compelled to share this message with the world because HE BELIEVES IT'S THE TRUTH, and God intends for some of us to hear it ASAP so that 1 Corinthians 11:19 and 1 Corinthians 12:25 (amongst many other prophetic verses) will be fulfilled.

In other words, this "revelation" and resulting "warning" is either pure Biblical truth, or it's a misinterpreted understanding of the text that will only lead us in the wrong direction. Regardless, God is sovereign and will use it to fulfill His perfect plans for the fulfillment of prophecy (and for us). Apply Acts 17:11 and take it all to Him in prayer.
