Close Encounters Of The Bizarre Kind At DIA

This is just nuts.

Given all the studies we've done in this forum on "Predictive Programming" (a.k.a. "mass conditioning"), would you believe me if I told you that there was a DIRECT CONNECTION between the infamous Denver International Airport and the Sci-Fi classic Close Encounters Of The Third Kind?

The blog called
The Big Wobble had this there recently that left me shaking my head...

The classic movie, Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, has a scene where we are sent a signal, it's a set of numbers. Those numbers are coordinates for the famous Devil's Tower, where of course our first contact with Aliens happens at the end....

The numbers are 104 44 30 40 36 10.

Let's turn those into coordinates- W104' 44' 30' N40' 36' 10' . Now, plug those into Google Earth.

Denver International Airport. The movie came out in 1977. The airport was built 16 years later. This can't be a coincidence!

Unreal, isn't it? What in the world do we make of this?

Folks, we must conclude that this was all intentional just as we suspect that it is. There's no other explanation in light of what we know about Spielberg's role in advancing the Satanic "Alien/UFO" agenda and what we know about the strangeness surrounding the Denver International Airport. I'll tell you why.

When I was in college I studied film my first year and actually wanted to become a filmmaker of some sort. Directors, especially "auteurs" like Steven Spielberg, are fanatical when it comes to the DETAILS and the way things are arranged in each and every scene.

Seriously, EVERYTHING that appears in a single shot was put there by the filmmaker for a VERY SPECIFIC REASON. So, the fact that
IMDB even commented on this and has the same coordinates listed in the "Goofs" section for the movie is quite telling I think...

Errors in geography: The coordinates received by the scientists (40°36'10" N, 104°44'30" W) aren't very close to Devils Tower at all. The coordinates are very close to Stage Colorado, east of Ft. Collins, Colorado, almost 300 miles (480 km) away from the monument.

In fact, this was a MAJOR ERROR on their part, in the technical accuracy of the film script. Others have pointed out that this was actually
covered many years ago in Science Fiction "Fanzines" before the Internet even existed!

Factual Error: The aliens broadcast a series of pulses which are decoded by the scientists to be a longitude and latitude. In degrees:minutes:seconds, the longitude is 104:44:30 and the latitude is 40:36:10. These numbers are what the computer display shows and are what the scientists say (except for one slip-up in the hallway early in the scene where 104:40:30 is said). The scientists grab a globe and declare these coordinates are in Wyoming. Everybody and his brother (and the aliens) then proceed to show up at Devils Tower, Wyoming. However, Devils Tower is at around longitude 104 deg 44 min and latitude *45* deg 36min, not the *40* deg 36 min pulsed out by the aliens. If everyone had gone to 40 deg 36 min, they would have ended up in Colorado, more than a couple hundred miles south of Devils Tower, Wyoming.

If this was just any old airport, then I'd be inclined to conclude that it's all no big deal really. However, we've spent time exposing the esoteric/occult/satanic symbolism connected to that "airport" in the past here. You can read that detailed analysis or you can just watch this...

The Denver International Airport (DIA)

Now that we've opened the door to those eerie pieces of artwork and murals that greet visitors who travel through the "airport" please allow me to share something else the same blog brought up.

Take a look at these images and just think about what we've all witnessed in 2010 (mainly the BP Oil Spill and the resulting Gulf crisis along with the massive deaths of animals around the world) and what we're witnessing now (mainly all the unrest in the Arab world)...

How uncanny is that? Friends, these murals were painted in 1996!

In case you're inclined to dismiss any of this as "no big deal" please prayerfully consider the following, which has been out there since the DIA first opened...

Here is a brief UNCONFIRMED narrative. If you have more info please be sure to pass it along...

> The Queen of England has reportedly been buying up property in Colorado under a proxy.

> There is a lot of "secret society" symbology at the airport, an AWFUL lot in fact.

> The symbolism apparent in the layout of the new Denver airport, some feel, says that it may be a control center for world control.

> Specifically, those involved in some very unusual government projects in the past, have remarked that the Denver area is where the establishment of the Western sector of the New World Order will be in the United States.

> Denver is of very high altitude and ideal for safe underground building.

> The dedication or capstone of the new Denver Internation Airport is a masonic symbol.

> If you visit the airport's south eastern side of the terminal you will find the Masonic Capstone in Granite.

> This part of the terminal is called The Great Hall, which is known in Masonic lingo as their meeting hall.

> On the Masonic Capstone is inscribed NEW WORLD AIRPORT COMMISSION.

> An eyewitness who has since "committed suicide" named Phil Schneider was a whistle blower re: Denver International Airport's underground facilities. He helped build the underground facilities and reportedly "killed" himself via a double tie catheter behind his own neck strangling himself. It goes without saying that it appears that he was MURDERED.

> Phil also worked on other government underground facilities such as Area 51 and Dulce and more (SEE http://www.reocities.com/Area51/9357/ which is a tribute to Phil, although I cannot vouch for the site myself).

> In the same general area as the Masonic capstone, there are Masonic designs in the floor, such as the expression DZIT DIT GAII ("White Mountain").

> Phil Schneider's father was a U-boat captain during the NAZI regime.

> Apparently DZIT DIT GAII refers to the BLACK SUN some sort of NAZI symbology.
NAZI's apparently were into "BLACK SUN" worship, i.e. Saturn, i.e. Satanism, should not surprise us, I suppose.

> There are many murals at the airport of an EXTREMELY grotesque and apocalyptic nature. Not the kind you'd expect to greet visitors to a city.

> After looking at the murals many come away saying that they may represent what the elites plan to do with us and world.

> One of the murals depicts 3 caskets containing dead people, each person representing people who the elites may want dead -- Black woman, a Jewish woman, and an American Indian Woman.

> The casket ritual is common in the Skull & Bones Club whose members include George Bush.

> In the same mural is shown the destruction of city and forest, a little girl holding a Mayan Tablet that predicts destruction of Civilization.

> Another mural depicts a green giant "Darth Vader" like figure wearing a gas mask destroying a city. In this mural, women can be seen carrying DEAD BABIES.

> Another mural depicts a German boy collecting from all the other children of the world, all of the worlds weapons. The German boy has a HUGE IRON FIST and is pounding all the weapons into plowshares on an anvil.

> Operation Paperclip was a plan wherein NAZI's were brought into the US to be brought back into power after being financed and appearance altered.

> Many German nationals have been seen along Americans in more sensitive areas of the airport's underground facilities on a regular basis.

> The LUFTWAFFE has long had an EXTENSIVE base in New Mexico complete with towns where all signs are in GERMAN.

> The Artists who made the murals in DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT have been interviewed wherein they first claimed that guidelines WERE provided for their work. Upon further investigation, they appear to have forgotten that they previously said guidelines were given.

> Another mural depicts nothing but mind-altering or poisonous plants and animals all of which are recognized as Masonic symbols worldwide.

> Most people are shocked by this weird art and are bewildered that such strange stuff is in the airport at all [not unlike the bizarre propaganda/art at the new IRS HQ].

> Phil Schneider claimed during the last year of constuction that the underground airport system was being connected to a deep underground base.

> At least 8 levels deep.

> 4.5 square mile underground city.

> 88.5 square mile base underneath the airport (HARD to BELIEVE, huh?). Your tax money at work?

> Rodney Stitch, author of Defrauding of America, claims to have a copy of a tape of a CIA agent paying off the mayor of Denver to get the airport built ($1.5 million payoff0.

"Confirmed" or "unconfirmed" is not the point here. The point is that there's some highly unusual stuff connected with this "airport" in Denver, CO and we're being conditioned to accept it all for some reason.

That, in and of itself, forces us to at least consider the possibility that some of our suspicions are valid and that it will serve (if it's not already serving) some specific purpose to the coming New World Order, or prophesied One World Government, and its proponents.

Interesting too that Denver was in the mainstream news prominently this past week for two reasons...

Three U.S. Airports Exposed To Measles?

Fascinating for us to speculate and think about the "story-behind-the-story" when we see these two headlines especially with those disturbing (and related?) images from those creepy murals fresh in our minds.

What does it all mean (if anything)? We may never know. But we are well aware of their symbolism present in this world and their beliefs about the power inherent in such symbolism. We also know the real explanation for all the "Alien/UFO" still going on in this world.

That being said, what is the connection between the Denver International Airport and Stephen Spielberg's Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, and that unholy marriage?

Time will tell.

Gog-Magog Clarified

Steven M. Collins had this exchange on his website recently...

From a reader:

Rev 20:7-9 mentions Gog and Magog war, how does this relate to what is spoken of in Ezekiel 38?

Ron

My response:

Dear Ron,

The Gog-Magog wars of Ezekiel 38-39 and Revelation 20 are two different wars. The Ezekiel 38-39 war occurs in the “latter days” prior to the millennium/ Messianic Age, while the Revelation 20 war occurs at the very end of the millennium. The Ezekiel 38-39 war states the Gog-Magog alliance attacks the nations of the house of Israel while the Gog-Magog alliance attacks a city of righteous saints at the end of the millennium. These are clearly two different wars fought against two different targets approximately 1000 years apart from each other.

Steve

Well stated. Don't you think?

The fact that Gog-Magog is mentioned in two different passages of prophetic Scripture has traditionally given students of end times Bible prophecy fits!

Typically, people hold to one entrenched position or the other rather than taking God's Word at its word and applying some basic common sense to the debate.

I just never heard it addressed so Scripturally and succinctly before. Two different wars.

Perhaps now we can put this debate to rest, huh?

Two Tragedies, One Message

Many of you are well aware of the fact that the key to seeing the "big picture" and to understand what's really going on in this upside down world is to look at it from a Biblical perspective and through the prism of prophecy.

On a practical level, that means taking what we already know to expect from God's Word and making that our foundation. Then, we need to use the brain that God gave us and seek out news and information, not just from a few select sources, but from multiple sources from around the world.

Often times this will include getting our news from the Right, the Left, the Middle, the mainstream, the non-mainstream, the national, and the international media outlets. Why is that important? Because it's like putting together a puzzle. The more pieces you have in your possession, the greater your chances of being able to put them all together in the right places so that a clear picture emerges.

That being said, it's time for another study in symbolism. A short one. At least that will be the intention here. I trust we're all on the same page.

If you have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about (or if this is your first time reading a study that's part of LUF's "Symbolism Studies" series) then please don't go any further until you read the introductory disclaimer first by
CLICKING HERE.

Actually, on second thought, don't continue reading any further -- and certainly don't even think about commenting in response to this Bible study -- until you've had a chance to read that. You'll understand why after you read the series disclaimer referenced above.

The story that caught my attention today? Two of them actually...

Horror, Confusion As Huge Quake Hits Christchurch

Downtown Christchurch will be demolished once the search for earthquake victims is completed. Authorities confirmed yesterday the bulldozers and wrecking balls will move in to clear the CBD, with a quarter of buildings already condemned - and structural engineers predicting this figure will rise to half.

As the death toll from Tuesday's 6.3-magnitude quake rose to 145, with 200 still missing, Earthquake Recovery Minister Gerry Brownlee said there were no plans to ease the safety cordon around the CBD because most older buildings were unsafe.
"Those buildings will have to be sorted out fairly swiftly - they don't have a future,' Mr Brownlee said.

Once bodies had been recovered there would be "a very big demolition effort across the CBD area. Sites will have to be cleared so that people can have confidence it's safe to come back into the CBD," he said.

Some buildings might be able to be repaired but a number of services operating in the CBD would have to move for months. In the suburbs, one in six of the 5441 homes and businesses checked by Civil Defence so far have been "red-stickered", meaning they have to be evacuated immediately because they are so dangerous.

A further 500 have been given only limited access for owners to retrieve vital possessions. Christchurch mayor Bob Parker yesterday acknowledged there had been "a slight shift in mood" in the city as the scale of the disaster and the reality of the task ahead sank in.

"The adrenalin is beginning to fade and it's real tough hard work." But he vowed there would be no let-up in the search and rescue effort.

The operation to restore vital services as quickly as possible would also a remain a priority, with thousands of people without power, water or sewerage for five days now.

Water is back on to about half the city's homes but people living in eastern suburbs, where thick black slime has been pushed up out of the ground, have been told not to use water even if they have it.

American Missionaries Killed By Somali Pirates

MARINA DEL REY, Calif. — A Southern California couple who had logged more than 60,000 nautical miles in their quest to deliver Bibles around the world has been shot and killed by Somali pirates who hijacked their yacht, the Quest. A Washington state couple traveling with them was also gunned down.

Killed in the attack were Scott and Jean Adams from Marina Del Rey, and their friends, Phyllis Macay and Robert Riggle of Seattle.

The deaths came Feb. 22 as negotiations were being conducted on a U.S. naval vessel, one in a flotilla that was trailing the pirated yacht.

Scott Adams was a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, Calif. He received a master of divinity and a master of theology from the school.

Fuller Seminary had posted a message on its homepage asking for prayers for the missionaries saying, “Adam is a beloved friend of the seminary.”

According to the Adams’ website the couple was headed to Djibouti for a refueling stop. The small Muslim country, located in Northeast Africa on the Gulf of Aden, shares borders with Eritrea, Ethiopia and Somalia.

“I have no idea what will happen in these ports, but perhaps we’ll do some local touring,” Jean wrote on the site. “Due north is the Red Sea where we plan to tuck in when winds turn to the north.”

The Adams were members of St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Santa Monica, Calif. "They were very heartfelt in their response to this great gospel and they came to know Jesus in a very special way here," their pastor, Lloyd Torgerson, said to KABC.

“Jean actually sang in our 11:30 choir Sunday mornings. Both of them had a great outreach, of course, through this ministry to take the scriptures, the Bibles, to places across the world. And they felt that call to do that, and that’s what they were doing I presume when this happened."

The Adams had been traveling the globe since 2004 distributing Bibles provided to them by the American Bible and International Bible societies. A mission statement on their website said their passion was to “allow the power of the Word to transform lives.”

“We seek fertile ground for the Word and homes for our Bibles,” the statement read. “Often, the ultimate homes are best found by people who are already living locally and seeking and cultivating that fertile ground. And even more extraordinary are the times when people have been praying for Bibles for their group or their schools and when we arrive we are often greeted by the attitude of ‘we were expecting you.’”

In addition to the Bibles, the Adams was acutely aware of the encouragement they provided to “folks who are long past ‘the honeymoon’ stage of their ministry.”

Now, at first glance, these stories should stand out to us with ears to hear and eyes to see because of the glaring "Christian" components.

The first tragedy involves a place called "Christchurch" (as in "Christ's Church") and the other involves a man and a woman who were fulfilling the Great Commission by taking the Gospel to a part of the world that desperately needed to hear and read it (as in Two Witnesses).

Let's just stop right there. Truth is, I could (and probably should) just stop here and let it speak for itself. Seriously though, please just marvel with me for a moment at the symbolism present in both of these stories and how they both are like microcosms of what end times Bible prophecy tells us is in the near future.

> The persecution of the saints (or the persecution of Christ's church and body of believers) as evidenced by the following passages...

Daniel 7:21 (KJV) I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;

Revelation 13:7 (KJV) And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Revelation 14:11-12 (KJV) And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Revelation 20:4 (KJV) And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Revelation 22:5 (KJV) And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

> The ministry and death before the world of the Two Witnesses as evidenced by the following passages...

Revelation 11:1-14 (KJV) And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

Nevermind how the above passage about the Two Witnesses also mentions an earthquake, but things got even weirder for me when I realized that BOTH TRAGEDIES happened at roughly the same time!

The quake in New Zealand hit just before 6:52pm Monday, February 21st, East Coast U.S. time, or early afternoon Tuesday, February 22nd, local time there. The murder of the couple near the Gulf of Aden took place on Tuesday, February 22nd as well. What might that tell us (if anything)? Was it meant to emphasize and underscore the general theme to those of us with ears to hear and eyes to see?

In addition, as you know, the earthquake took place in New Zealand. Since their inaugural deployment, the Quest (or the name of the Adams' hijacked yacht) traveled from...get this!...New Zealand to Alaska to Central America, from Panama, through French Polynesia, the Cooks, Samoa, Tonga and back to New Zealand again! What are the odds of them sharing a connection like that? Again, was this meant to to emphasize and underscore the general theme to those of us with ears to hear and eyes to see?

The murder and death of a couple who had the last name "Adams" also made me think of the Adam from the Book of Genesis, or the root of our sinful nature. Surreal then to think about this tragedy symbolically in light of the entire Gospel message, which I believe can be summed up by a passage from Romans...

Romans 5:12-19 (KJV) Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. But not as the offence, so also [is] the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, [which is] by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as [it was] by one that sinned, [so is] the gift: for the judgment [was] by one to condemnation, but the free gift [is] of many offences unto justification. For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one [judgment came] upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one [the free gift came] upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

As Matthew Henry put it...

Romans 5:15-19 Through one man's offence, all mankind are exposed to eternal condemnation. But the grace and mercy of God, and the free gift of righteousness and salvation, are through Jesus Christ, as man: yet the Lord from heaven has brought the multitude of believers into a more safe and exalted state than that from which they fell in Adam. This free gift did not place them anew in a state of trial, but fixed them in a state of justification, as Adam would have been placed, had he stood. Notwithstanding the differences, there is a striking similarity. As by the offence of one, sin and death prevailed to the condemnation of all men, so by the righteousness of one, grace prevailed to the justification of all related to Christ by faith. Through the grace of God, the gift by grace has abounded to many through Christ; yet multitudes choose to remain under the dominion of sin and death, rather than to apply for the blessings of the reign of grace. But Christ will in nowise cast out any who are willing to come to him.

Folks, that in and of itself would be more than enough to cause goosebumps, but there's more that pushes the boundaries of "mere coincidence" in all of this and forces us to ask ourselves if we're paying attention to what's really going on in the world, and whether or not we're ready for what's coming should God's sovereign will for our lives include some kind of persecution through trial and testing to not only perfect our faith, but to ultimately bring glory, honor, and praise to Him.

For instance, I just got done reading New Wineskins' entry titled
"Christchurch Earthquake, 'Much Worse Than' Sept 4th" and highly recommend you take a few minutes to read it at this point too.

As compelling as all of that is to the focus of this post today, the unusual news items didn't stop there. For example, I read how
a Long Island Priest was being credited with saving the life of one of his parishioners on Thursday after an 89-year-old elderly man accidentally set himself on fire near the altar.

I assume you've heard the phrase
"On fire for the Lord", right? Well, how ridiculous is it that this story about a near tragedy comes up this week too at the precise time that these others occurred?

What I mean by that is that if we were to read this account symbolically, and considering it within the context of this study today, we are only left shaking our heads because here,
in the most basic sense (again, symbolically speaking), we have a representative of the Catholic Church (or the Catholic Church) stifling the fire of a parishioner.

In other words, might we say (symbolically speaking) that we have the Roman Catholic Church stifling those who even come close to "catching fire for the Lord" perhaps?

If we can, then don't you see how seamlessly that ties in with prophetic passages for the last days? I'll try to explain. Lately, I’ve been spending more and more time looking at what Jesus has to say to us -- the Laodicean church in Revelation 3.

Revelation 3:15-22 (KJV) I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Chilling:
"I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot."

So, I read that story with all this other stuff already swirling in my head and instantly thought of Jesus' condemning words to Christians alive today.

Far too many within the Body of Christ are neither "hot" or "cold", and whenever someone gets close to becoming "hot" they are mocked, ridiculed, or stifled by the very institutions, leaders, and parishioners who should be stoking those flames.

Revelation 3:20 (KJV) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Here, Christ is reporting that -- in His own church -- some know that He is at the door, but they will not rouse themselves from their spiritual lethargy to open it. By implication, they will not allow or invite Him into their lives.

As unbelievable as it sounds, there are those in His church who will keep Him on the outside looking in (see
Song of Solomon 5:2-3)! But there is hope!

In Revelation 3:20, that word
"if" holds out hope -- hope that a Laodicean can repent, can change, can open the door to Christ rather than ignore Him. Are we opening the door? Are we opening ourselves up to Christ to build the kind of relationship that will lead to eternal life (John 17:3)?

Our calling is irrevocable (
Romans 11:29), and it is God's will that we succeed (John 6:39-40). And when a thing is God's will, Isaiah 14:24 says, "Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass, and as I have purposed, so it shall stand." God has given us everything we need to live successful Christian lives; we just have to open the door.

Are we opening the door? There are some easy tests...

> Are we diligently praying, studying, meditating, fasting, and not allowing our deceitful and sleepy natures to accept excuses for failure?

> Are we opening our minds and hearts during services by being alert and eager without allowing ourselves to be distracted during worship of the Lord?

> Are we wise or foolish virgins (
Matthew 25:1-12)? Have we been lulled to sleep and see no need for urgency (2 Peter 3:4)?

God knows the true answers to each one of these questions. Do we? These relationship building tools are our Christian responsibilities. They are the daily, little things given to us that, in a large measure, tell God the real intentions of our hearts.

Failure to handle these "trifles" proves us as unfaithful servants (
Luke 16:10-13). I fear I've gotten sidetracked here. Sorry! The point I wanted to make is that the one who gives careless attention to his responsibilities is a Laodicean. We need to open our doors to Christ as never before because, as Romans 13:11 says, "And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep, for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed." That's the truth of the matter especially in this day and age.

By the way, I hope it goes without saying that we need to pray for church regular, 89-year-old Vito Badalamente, who is now fighting for his life. That's another thing! His last name contains the words
"bad" and "lament" too! As a Noun the word "lament" means "a passionate expression of grief" and as a Verb it means "to mourn a person's loss or death", which I'd say is eerily appropriate here, wouldn't you? Maybe it's time for us to re-read Lamentations too.

The most poignant quote from that story?
"The fire alarm was activated from within the church..." God, I hope so! I pray we're all seeing the same signs and warnings to repent and to obey in the process of getting our spiritual house in order while we still can. Will you be either "hot" or "cold" for your Lord and Savior, or neither?

Maybe that's the message here: Choose one or the other, but know that your choice in carrying out your responsibilities as Christians or not carrying out your responsibilities as Christians will have consequences.

Why do I say that? Because as "Ultraguy"/Art from New Wineskins pointed out in his post I referenced earlier...

Andrew Strom discusses some important background on the church’s disappointing reaction to the first quake (in September) in which no one died.

...one of the main things that I hoped to do in Christchurch after the first quake was to organize a large open worship event in the city – to praise and glorify God that nobody had been killed even in a huge 7.1 earthquake. I found that no such event was being planned, but there were thousands of evangelical Christians in Christchurch, and I felt very strongly that it was important for us to publicly glorify God for the miracle of surviving such a disaster with no-one killed… No response… I even told some friends that it was "dangerous" to offer no public praise after God has just so obviously saved your city. I felt so strongly about it – and deeply saddened for the state of the Body of Christ. But I could do nothing more. On December 17, 2010, my family departed from Christchurch.

Christ’s church without water?...

"Around 80 per cent of Christchurch remains without water tonight following yesterday’s devastating earthquake."

11 "Behold, the days are coming," declares the Lord GOD, "when I will send a famine on the land– not a famine of bread,
nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD. 12 They shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; they shall run to and fro, to seek the word of the LORD, but they shall not find it. 13 "In that day the lovely virgins and the young men shall faint for thirst."(Amos 8:11-13)

One word: WOW! To me, there were two tragedies, but one message.

But do you see what I'm so awestruck by all of this? What are the odds of this kind of "spiritual convergence", or this kind of apparent coherence even if it is admittedly highly subjective? How does that happen? What in the world does any of this mean (if anything)?

Look, I know how all of this sounds but many of you who are regular readers of LUF know how I operate around these parts. I don't demand that the Holy Spirit explains things to me so that I completely understand them backwards and forwards, but I do know when it is that I see something or hear something and the clear thought occurs to me,
"Hey, you should look into this and write about this -- right away!", which explains why I've spent so many long hours and late nights in front of my laptop.

I always pray that it's
His prompting that I'm following in those cases and not our common enemy's who is trying to distract me by taking me down some deep, dark rabbit hole. Again, I try not to ask too many questions, but always try to do what I believe I'm supposed to and leave all the consequences to Him.

Is there any prophetic significance to this seemingly random and unusual story about two tragedies from this past week, happening at roughly the same time, that points us to the coming persecution of the saints and the ministry of the Two Witnesses at the beginning of Daniel's 70th week!?!

I've already indicated which direction I'm leaning even if I haven't got it all figured out yet. What do you think though? Please take it to the Lord in prayer and then feel free to share your thoughts here with the rest of us.

Lastly, if there is something to all of this we might want to begin to get our spiritual house in order fast because the assessment here as well as from many of you I think is spot on. That assessment? TIME IS SHORT! WAKE UP! TIME IS SHORTER THAN YOU THINK! REPENT! JUDGMENT IS COMING!

I will say this though...I don't need stories about earthquakes, pirates, people being accidentally caught on fire, and the like to convince me that what the Holy Bible says about what's coming is true. I already knew the script before I saw these notes in the margin. If anything, they only add additional perspective to the story I'm already quite familiar with.

The best advice I can give besides taking all of these things under prayerful consideration to the Lord? Pray
Luke 21:36 and have no fear about what's to come. Even so, Lord come quickly.

For months now, we’ve been shouting from the rooftops about this sense of foreboding that seems to suggest that God’s displeasure with this nation -- this world -- over her unrepentant sins is about to manifest itself fiercely in the form of Divine Judgment and Divine Retribution.

When that happens, make no mistake, it will be the end of "life as we know it" for all of us. Yes, all signs seem to be pointing to "the beginning of the end" being imminent, but we don't know for sure when that day will come.

Still, that does not mean that we stop being watchful. What else can I write that I haven't yet (or that you all haven't written or read somewhere else)? It seems pretty obvious by now, doesn't it? I pray that it is.

The general theme that we've been seeing lately remains consistent even in today's study involving several new news items, players, and places. In the final analysis, the beginning of Daniel's 70th Week -- the start of the Tribulation -- seems to be at hand! Is Jesus Christ about to open the Seals like we suspect that He is?

Now you know why I keep thinking that we're on the cusp of the Tribulation because EVERYWHERE we look we seem to be getting signs (even in the seemingly mundane and random places) that point to its nearness. How so? Because they all bring our attention back to the subject over and over and over again regardless of any "tunnel vision" some might say that we have because we're studying these things all the time. There are no coincidences. None.

Sure, posts like this represent the deep, symbolic analysis, and interpretation that is far riskier and much more subjective than just reading the Word of God and letting it speak for itself (as my disclaimer to open with asserts), but the fact of the matter is that even if we didn't have symbolism studies like this we'd still have to conclude that the beginning of the end was near.

World events and the other news headlines of the day confirm that for us by lining up with what God's Word explicitly tells us to expect, and they prove as much without us having to undergo lengthy speculative studies like this.

Even so, it's the unexpected "spiritual convergence" like this stuff that comforts me because it reminds me that our Lord is in complete and total control of EVERYTHING despite all the chaos, conspiracy, mystery, and uncertainty that surrounds us on a daily basis.

Ok, I'm just rambling and repeating myself now. Sorry about that. Regardless of what does or doesn't happen in the days, weeks, and months ahead, let's always try to rest on truths like this...

2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV) For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Psalm 27:1-3 (KJV) The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, [even] mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this [will] I [be] confident.

Romans 8:35-39 (KJV) Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Proverbs 3:25-26 (KJV) Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

Matthew 10:28 (KJV) And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Luke 21:36 (KJV) Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

The truth will set you free indeed. Yes, even in this "Age of Deception" that we're living in.

My dear friend, if you have never thought of yourself as being a sinner, have never repented of your sins, and don't accept, believe in, or know who Jesus Christ is, let alone what He did for you to become your Lord and Savior for the forgivness of your sins, then it's time you did.

This is all the more reason for you to ask yourself once and for all
"Am I Really A Good Person?" and "Am I Going To Heaven When I Die? Am I Saved?" before it's too late because none of us knows when we'll take our last dying breath.

Repent! Judgment is coming! Rest in Him. Rest in His Word.

Keep looking up!

A Warning To The Elect

The past couple of days, we’ve spent a lot of time looking at politics, and science, and technology, and about man’s desire to control his own destiny.

At the root of it all is pride. Pride is sin. Not surprisingly, a recent daily devotional I received via email from The Berean was about the dangers of pride. It pointed to Isaiah 14:12-15 as being the key passage for us.

There we read...

Isaiah 14:12-15 (KJV) How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

Isaiah 14:12-15 (NIV) How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! You said in your heart, "I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High." But you are brought down to the grave, to the depths of the pit.

What an excellent microcosm of what happens when pride takes over. In that sense, it's also an appropriate warning for us these days given all the civil, political, and social unrest we're witnessing all around us.

I think it's safe to say that probably all of us have thought that we know better than those in charge, right? Watch out when that happens!

Thinking like this is not wrong in itself, but it is something that lodged itself in Lucifer's mind: "I know better than the one in charge!", and in this case, it was God. We can begin to see how his pride was beginning to exalt itself against God. It was moving to break the relationship between them. It was coming between Lucifer and God so that their relationship could not continue. As a result, Lucifer could not continue to serve God either.

Most of us at one time or another have felt that we have been overlooked, neglected, or abused. Boy, isn't that what so many people are saying is the reason why they've decided to finally "stand up to" to government and elected officials? Hold on to that for just a moment because we'll come back to it.

Most of us have also felt rejected a time or two. Of and by themselves, these feelings are not wrong. But, again, we must beware, we must be very, very careful not to let them linger and marinate within our hearts and minds, because then these feelings can begin to generate pride.

Such a thing fed Lucifer's feelings about himself. They simmered in him and made him angry, and he desired to assert his will to control the governance of all that was happening. "I will ascend to heaven," he said, and he tried to.

We see the pattern here, don't we? We can see the process involved from beginning to end. It always ends in warfare against God, which is why a person of pride cannot have a good relationship with Him.

A proud person cannot have faith in God, at least not very much. A small amount of faith can be there, but pride will definitely be a hindrance.

This is why the Parable of the Pharisee and the Publican in Luke 18:9-14 follows immediately after of the Parable of the Widow (Luke 18:1-8), which Jesus ends with, "When the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on earth?"

Why does he end with A question? Why does he end with that question in that way? Because HUMILITY is essential to faith!

This is why we all must be VERY CAREFUL right now not to get caught up in this "Us-Vs-Them" paradigm that they’ve created and that they’re whipping up not just in the Middle East and in Europe, but here in the US as well.

That’s exactly what they want! Worse, it’s exactly what Satan wants! It’s why I always try to remind us of the dangers of a "We Are One" or a "Brotherhood Of Man" type of thinking in response to all of this. Let’s all do our best to always remember that.

It’s unreal to think about all of the "spiritual convergence" we’re seeing these days. It’s even more unreal that anyone could look at these same signs and see something completely different, or not see the importance in them at all.

Ladies and Gentlemen, aside from evangelizing the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we are also instructed to watch and pray for His return. The goal here at LUF is to spend as much time as we can attempting to address the connection between news and real world events and end times Bible prophecy.

In some cases, the connection seems clear. In others, not so much. One thing I know for sure is that even though prophecy has many purposes to it, it was never intended by God to open the future just to idle curiosity. He has a much higher purpose in furnishing guidance to the heirs of salvation.

That higher purpose? To give comfort, encouragement, and hope, and to instill confidence and a sense of urgency in those heirs of salvation especially during the troubled times that they live in.

Guess what? We are the heirs of salvation! Prophecy was intended for us and for those very reasons to help comfort and guide us! This is important for us to remember whenever we study and speak to others about prophecy.

Of course, studying and talking about Bible prophecy will invariably cause some to react and respond in fear. What do we say to loved ones (or ourselves) who fit that description? Well, for starters, after repenting of giving in to the fear, we read Romans 8.

Repent! Judgement is coming!

Children -- Notable Quotable

Here is a quote from Voddie Baucham concerning children...

"You want to avoid disappearing in the midst of a pagan culture? Out breed them. Let me tell you something. There are some of us in the room that need to repent because of our attitude toward children and because of what we have said to people communicating our attitude and not the Biblical attitude toward children. Some of us need to get on our faces before a holy God because we have mocked being fruitful. I have heard Pastors from pulpit, from the pulpit, talk about their children like they despise the number of children that God has given them. I heard a Pastor from the pulpit talk about their third children being named Miny. 'Yeah, Eeny, Meeny, and Miny because we ain’t having no more.' That is a mockery before almighty God! Children are a gift of the Lord. The fruit of the womb is a reward. Our attitude from here is why a lot of people out there aren’t having enough kids. It starts with us. And it all goes back to prosperity. The poorest nations in the world see children as a blessing. The richest nation in the world, we talk about children in terms of how many we can afford. God help us! We are dying one generation at a time because we refuse to receive the gift that God wants to bring through the womb. Our attitudes. God says, 'You want to continue to be my people? You do two things. Number one, you gladly receive these blessings that I give you called children. And, number two, you disciple them in your homes so that they don’t look like the culture around them.' The minute you stop receiving the gift of God through the womb and the minute you stop discipling them in your home, they begin to look like the culture and the community of God begins to vanish before your eyes. Two Christian families in this generation to get one generation into the next. I believe that is a plague on us. It is amazing. We always talk about how we want more souls in the kingdom. If we were honest, here is what we would say. 'We want more souls in the kingdom, as long as we don’t have to birth them, raise them, and feed them.'"

Is your view of children in line with Scripture or with worldly culture?

A twisted view concerning children has at its heart "selfishness" (because, sadly, most of us could never imagine "sacrifice" as being a "blessing", could we?) and "greed" (because we consistently use the word "need" and rarely use the word "want", don't we?).

Time to get our priorities straight I think.

Elementary Truths On Technology

All technology is not inherently "evil" per se. However, I believe that some new technology is.

You may have heard about "Watson", the IBM Supercomputer that’s been competing against human opponents, both previous champions, on the hit TV game show Jeopardy! this past week.

'Watson' Computer Wins At Jeopardy!

Believe it or not, this is definitely a shape of things to come.

That’s because the science behind the program is driving practical innovations in everything from the checkout line to search engines. I read that a fleet of IBM Engineers based out of Westchester County, NY, developed Watson over a 4 year period SPECIFICALLY to take on two Jeopardy! champions.

To do so, Programmers had to install 4 terabytes of data -- more than 10 million documents, such as encyclopedias, Wikipedia, dictionaries, and the Bible -- that Watson could instantly pore over once an answer was given in a near-lightspeed game of word association.

Here’s the creepy part though…That reservoir of knowledge would be useless if Watson wasn't able to determine just what host Alex Trebek was looking for with each clue. That’s because Jeopardy! clues often incorporate puns, wordplay, and idioms. So, Watson would have to be able to essentially read-between-the-lines of clues to arrive at an answer. Why is that concerning? Because essentially its creators taught Watson how to learn on its own!

Computers may be able to win on Jeopardy!, but they still can't quite trick us into thinking that they are flesh and blood. Yet, that won’t stop fallen, prideful, sinful man from trying to be like a god himself by creating such beings/machines.

Interestingly enough, all of this Watson stuff has prompted some to suggest that there might be greater uses for such computers. For instance, since the US Supreme Court has decided that corporations are people, some have openly asked, why can't computers be politicians? Better yet, they say, let's make clones of Watson and put them to work in Congress and state legislatures!

Machines programmed to make decisions based on facts and logic would be an improvement over many of the "human robots" controlled by special interests who now run our government. Big-money influence has always been a problem in politics for sure, but the floodgates were opened last year when an activist Supreme Court majority expanded the legal idea that corporations are people. They overturned decades of campaign finance law and allowed corporations and unions to spend huge amounts of often-anonymous money to influence elections.

Proponents say that computer politicians could help solve this problem because they lack human greed. All computers really need is a cool room for their servers and a little maintenance. As long as they have a steady supply of electricity, they aren't hungry for power. Obviously, they’ve never seen Terminator or Battlestar Galactica!

All kidding aside, this is the type of story that made me think of something we find in Bible prophecy for the last days. The whole "image of the beast" prophecy. It comes to us from the Book of Revelation...

Revelation 13:14-15 (KJV) And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by [the means of] those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Revelation 13:14-15 (NIV) Because of the signs he was given power to do on behalf of the first beast, he deceived the inhabitants of the earth. He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.

Traditionally, and if taken quite literally, which should always be our primary method of reading and studying God’s Word, the
"image of the beast" is not the same as the Beast himself -- the "Beast" commonly viewed as being another name for the coming "Antichrist" world leader.

In addition, the common understanding states that this
"image of the beast" is some sort of statue of the Antichrist that will be created, and one that will "come to life" too. In modern times, this would be like an ultra-realistic, lifelike cyborg or robot type of thing. Again, think Terminator or Cylons from Battlestar Galactica.

Folks, the technology is there. Watson is merely the tip of the iceberg in regards to what’s already been tested and what is currently being used behind the scenes. We all know that our own US Military is probably 5-10-15 years ahead of what the rest of the world thinks is "cutting edge", right?

With that in mind, there’s no question that ours is the first generation to have reason to think that theirs could be the last generation mentioned in the Bible who would see the fulfillment of the Lord’s prophecies because ours is the first to have the technology necessary to make such a fulfillment possible.

By the way, anyone else notice the uncanny resemblance to the "Monolith" object in Stanley Kubrick's portrayal of Arthur C. Clarke's Sci-Fi classic
2001: A Space Odyssey?

Remember, in the story, that Monolith shows up every time humanity is about to make a quote-unquote "evolutionary leap", right? Plus, we've just completed 2010, or
2010: The Year We Make Contact, which was the sequel to 2001: A Space Odyssey, right?

I have to ask all of you "Symbolism Junkies": Despite the highly subjective nature of studies in symbolism, are we ignoring the prophetic significance of what we all just witnessed this past week? After all, the apparent "spiritual convergence" seems obvious.

Let’s not forget that inventor and futurist Ray Kurzweil also made headlines recently when he claimed that 2045 is the year that man becomes immortal due to these kinds of advances in technology.

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Here is my quick take...

1. The fact that Time is putting this story on its cover means that they believe that there is an audience interested in hearing more about immortality for them or their children

2. Advances in bio-implants, nano-technology, computational speed and artificial intelligence make the story -- from the frame of reference of medical science -- somewhat believable

The technologies underlying Watson are likely to be part of the story when human-level and superhuman AGI robots finally do emerge. You can count on it.

Ray Kurzweil
has written glowingly of Watson as an important technology milestone...

Indeed no human can do what a search engine does, but computers have still not shown an ability to deal with the subtlety and complexity of language. Humans, on the other hand, have been unique in our ability to think in a hierarchical fashion, to understand the elaborate nested structures in language, to put symbols together to form an idea, and then to use a symbol for that idea in yet another such structure. This is what sets humans apart. That is, until now. Watson is a stunning example of the growing ability of computers to successfully invade this supposedly unique attribute of human intelligence.

As
one blogger put it to elaborate why Kurzweil is so excited...

Kurzweil is a master technology trendspotter, and he’s good at identifying which current developments are most indicative of future trends. The technologies underlying Watson aren’t new, and don’t constitute much direct progress toward the grand goals of the AI field. What they do indicate, however, is that the technology for extracting simple symbolic information from certain sorts of text, using a combination of statistics and rules, can currently be refined into something highly functional like Watson, within a reasonably bounded domain. Granted it took an IBM team 4 years to perfect this, and and granted Jeopardy! is a very narrow slice of life — but still Watson does bespeak that semantic information extraction technology has reached a certain level of maturity. And while Watson’s use of natural language understanding and symbol manipulation technology is extremely narrowly-focused, the next similar project may be less so. Today Jeopardy! Tomorrow the world?

Don’t laugh! First of all, the year Kurzweil gave (2045) is arbitrary, and whether or not you believe him when it comes to all of this is immaterial, and you'd be missing the point.

The key point here is that the simple fact that we have yet another prominent story in the news regarding the coming unholy marriage between man and machine, one totally unrelated to all the Watson-Jeopardy! stuff, is proof positive to me of the kind of "mass conditioning" (a.k.a. "Predictive Programming") that's going on right now to prepare us for this coming reality in the near future. Besides, proponents really believe such things!

Plus, right on cue,
it was reported just yesterday by the BBC that unveiled at the Science Conference in Washington was a bionics introduced thought-controlled wheelchair. Actually, it was thought-controlled wheelchairs and nerve-controlled prosthetic arms! Unreal, isn’t it? What a strange, strange world we're living in!

I almost forgot to mention the news that
a programmable "Bio-Nano Chip" is said to become the first viable medical lab on a chip. Those of you who have been here before, and/or who have seen the presentation I gave in October on the dangers and serious prophetic implications of Nanotechnology, know how I feel about the supernatural Sci-Tech. This news won’t come as a surprise to you then.

How does it work? We often find out too late what’s happening inside our bodies when it’s stricken by disease or cancer, but those days could be coming to an end. The McDevitt Lab of Rice University has developed a Programmable Bio-Nano-Chip or PBNC, an alternative to the costly, time-consuming, and sometimes painful procedures for diagnosis. By using nanoscale fluorescent labeling to look for biomarkers linked to disease, these credit-card sized chips could enable physicians to recognize heart disease or cancer with just a small saliva sample, no catheterizations or biopsy required!

PBNCs also represent an exciting milestone for the “lab-on-a-chip” we’re told. In the past, this technology could analyze very small samples, but it has been economically impractical and still required a full-scale laboratory. Not any longer! Apparently, these PBNCs don’t have these issues.

The unnerving part is that chips for various conditions are already in clinical trials, so the McDevitt team’s PBNC is quickly forging a path to a facility near you. In other words, get ready because the future is now. What's that? You don't believe me? Truth is, we are closer to 2045 than I ever imagined.

Yesterday, during my research for this entry, I visited a website that provided information on a company called LifeNet Health HQ in Virginia Beach, VA. LifeNet is
"a non-profit global leader in regenerative medicine, is the world’s largest provider of bio-implants and organs for transplantation whose mission is saving lives and restoring health by advancing the field of tissue engineering" according to their website.

Last year, LifeNet distributed more than 350,000 bio-implants to patients around the country and world. Do the math. That’s about 1,000 a day -- every day!!! See what I mean?

We’re even told that the arrival of this new PBNC nano-infused technology would enormously benefit the healthcare system by improving clinical outcomes and reducing costs so you know that it will find supporters very quickly.

PBNCs also hint at other possibilities, like detecting the earliest signs of disease. If these devices ever become implants like the ones that LifeNet has been distributing, then the Body 2.0 upgrade that millions have been waiting for could be within reach in a matter of years -- not decades! Your body’s health, right down to its biochemistry, could be as easy to read as your wristwatch.

Satan continues to prey on people’s pride in themselves. For all the advances we’ve made, we’ve remained in the pit of sin that was introduced into the world in the Garden of Eden. We are still Adams and Eves by our very nature, sinners by birth, and no amount of technological advancements are ever going to change that by giving us forgiveness for our sins let alone eternal immortality through salvation.

But back to immortality. Jesus Christ told His disciples when they returned from their initial demonstrations of healings -- excited by their success -- that they should not be impressed by the healing of physical bodies, but by the fact that
"your names are written in heaven" (Luke 10:20).

They were identified with eternity --
immortal.
