And thank you for giving the little explanations of the videos so I don't HAVE to watch to understand.

I'm new to your blog (last few days) and have observed many of these things myself for years. What do you do with this knowledge? Very few Christians want to know. They want to, like Christopher, above, just enjoy their "good" entertainment, without having to engage Christian thinking when doing so.

Anyway, thanks for your blog. You articulate well what is going on. And it's given me something productive to do while I sit up coughing every night from a nasty cold :-)

I can add a little to this discussion. The main "bad guy" in the Crazies is Brett Wagner aka The Big Schwag who was the voice of Monster Garage on the Discovery Channel and he was also the host of Monster Radio when I was the book reviewer.

The movie has to do with chemicals being released into the water and causing people to go insane. And- get this- it was being filmed when the Swine Flu broke out! The government, in turn, instead of trying to rescue the people, kill them instead. So, it could be considered a 'black awakening' film but also it has a lot to do with government releasing bio-weapons and then allowing people to be wiped out.

It is actually a remake from the 70s, so while it is not an original idea- the timing is very very interesting. I talked to Brett- even people during the filming were scratching their heads that the government did not close the border to Mexico and allowed planes to fly in and out from Mexico City when Swine Flu first broke down there. So, it is a fascinating connection.

I really have no interest to see the movie personally..but I have witnessed to Brett for several years and bailed him out of a few personal situations. He knows about Jesus Christ, has prayed to Him in darkest hours- but won't commit. And, so, I would ask anyone who would like- to please lift Brett Wagner (who I met in pro wrestling) in prayer, because God has been dealing with him.

He's the freaky looking guy on the promo before you watch it. God loves him as He loves us all.

Looks like a good lineup of great entertainment. These things, though, do not hurt, I think they are very beneficial. They feed that side of us, satiate it and they are not real. Honestly all it takes is a little thinking to see. Where were these movies and/or games during WW1 or WW2 or the Holocaust, Spanish Inquisition, Trail of tears... I could go on and on. In my opinion these things do not hurt they are actually helpful. Mankind was created with these two natures, easy to see, otherwise they wouldn't have made any mistakes at all.
Still like your blog though, LOL.

I think the re-hash's of "V" and other movies and tv programs like it are a result that the luciferian agenda got sidetracked--Thank the Lord--and now they are backtracking and bringing it back again. Just a theory. Also that Avatar blue creature--interesting there are Hindu gods (demons) who are blue--Krishna is one I think--and I have heard muslims state their are blue colored jinns (demons). They have to move things around because they really don't know the day or the hour--but God's in control and all their knees will bow the the Lord one day..amen!

Thank you so much for your short "Coverages" of the Youtube films you show.....at least I get some idea of what is on them.....here in Australia we are just starting to get "V" on our T.V's I don't know if I will watch it or not...I did watch it in the 70's but I am sure the special effects will be so much better....(For all we know they might not even be special effects and might well be the real mcCoy, and they just want us to think they are special effects??)

Great observations about the Hollywood memes that 'just so happen' to shape the collective conscience, bombarding us in waves. For the last few years we have had the "everyone is a superhuman" meme, followed this year by the "aliens are coming" meme. And now apparently it will be "the evil within us" meme, or "spiritual darkness", whichever way you want to phrase it.

What would be super interesting for a Christian movie-buff, is to go back about 20 years and try to chart the various cultural 'waves' emanating from the silver screen and television...it might prove to be an eye-opening correlation to the unfolding of God's end-time plan. Would it turn out to be a reflection of our collective conscience? Or is our collective conscience being driven by pop media? The result is the same!
