I think you are going after conspiracy theories. Esperanto has no intrinsic connection to any kind of spirituality or One World Order.

Esperanto is simply a common-sense useful language. The reason Google celebrated its inventor was that people such as myself asked them to do it.

I am a conservative Christian, and I do not subscribe to the kind of beliefs you mixed up with Esperanto. They have nothing to do with the language per se.

They told me to keep looking up - so I have been looking up articles on Google after typing in "pretrib rapture" and found articles like "Pretrib Rapture Diehards," "Letter from Mrs. Billy Graham," and "Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty" and now I can look up with even better reasons than I had before! Wow, have you seen Google's very first Google doodle back in 1998? It was a commemoration of the "Burning Man Festival". http://www.google.com/logos/googleburn.jpg There are so many implications there you could write an entire book about it. During this festival, they not only burn a man in effigy (and the logo looks alien no?) but they also burn a temple called the Temple of Forgiveness. Google seems to be on the bleeding edge of more things than just search engines!!

Strategic Implications of American Millennialism

This is an emergency that we all must act on and right now. I was sent this article by a follower of the blog and want to thank him.
This posting is an United States Army report about the literal believers of the Bible and how they affect American foreign policy. It is the most dangerous document to believers that I have ever read in my entire life. After reading this document, it is easy to see the next step would be to eliminate our Constitutional rights and herd us into concentration camps.

You must stop what you are doing and read this entire document ASAP. The first two-thirds is historical and for the most part is accurate. It is technical and can be slow reading. As an historian, there are issues to be made but for the most part it is accurate.

The last third is an interpretation of Bible belief on world events. This report blames all the world evils on believers! World peace would break out if it were not for Bible believers in America. The trouble with Israel is because pre-Millennial believers support Israel.....

I like to do a little exercise for fun, basically "WWSD", or "what would Satan do?" In other words, how would Satan accomplish his goals in the world today?

Well if he wanted to set up a leader of the people, he would make sure that leader had pan-global appeal. Someone who is sort of ethnic, but not exactly. A person who could make the masses feel good just by how he spoke. An incredibly charismatic person, who not only looked and sounded good on tv, but seemed to hail from everywhere. A person with no religous 'center', but rather a kind of watered down psuedo faith. A certain leader today comes to mind.

If Satan wanted to set up a government, I imagine he would bring together coalitions from around the globe for a common purpose. Much like in Nimrod's day. If that purpose were also a mere deception, then so much the better. They might adopt a 'neutral' location, and an amalgamated set of bylaws. They would surely seek to enslave, obfuscate, and deceive. The UN certainly comes to mind.

If Satan wanted to set up a religion, I imagine he would create another amalgam, out of existing religions. There would be enough familiarity to fool the masses, and enough symbolism and 'spirituality' to perhaps fool the religious leaders too. The B'hai comes to mind. As a backup plan, he may even put several pseudo-Christian 'faiths' in play, to fool even God's children. Even to the point of revealing a percentage of 'truth' about the possible nature of angels and demons, while lying about the nature of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. He would certainly seek to deceive the world's highest-profile religious leaders, and to corrupt and tear down Christian beliefs and institutions.

If Satan wanted to set up a common currency for his government, one can only imagine the symbolism that would be used on the monetary units. All-seeing-eyes, women riding beasts perhaps.

And of course, the unified people would now need a unified language. I'll be keeping my eye on Esperanto, but wouldn't it be interesting if there turned out to be some tie-in with ancient Olmec, or some proto-language descended directly from Babel. Or better yet, directly from the murky past of the pre-Noahic era. The possibilities for deception would be endless.

And finally, to get back to the Google symbol that started your post; what kind of symbolism would Satan be looking for to help unite his new people? Something current, something political, something with mass recognition and appeal. Wait, I've got it, how about a green Star?

Besides his linguistic work, Zamenhof published a religious philosophy he called Homaranismo (loosely translated as humanitarianism), based on the principles and teachings of Hillel the Elder.

Also, I found it very sad about his children:

Zamenhof and his wife Klara raised three children: a son, Adam, and two daughters, Sofia and Lidia. All three were murdered in the Holocaust.[6]

Interestingly, it was because of the language creation that his children were killed.
