Well I'll have to say you have some interesting theories here, as to your reference to the two witnesses, in Isayah 43 and 44 these 2 men are spoken of and even named. They are also spoken of in Daniyl, Zecharyah, and other places through out the scriptures. I would love to show you more if you are interested, anyway your article prompted me to post this because the work that the two witnesses are prophesied to do has started in these last days of mans governments. Are you kidding me?! The Yahoo video regarding Atacama pops up not in relation to the earthquake there, and after your post that included "The Giant Hand of Atacama" & this desert area as the location of the 7-11 earthquake (& where the solar eclipse ended)! Surreal.

The Atacama desert area has virtually never seen rain...wasn't Noah's generation in the same boat (pun intended)? They were caught unaware since they'd never experienced rain & Noah's warnings fell on deaf ears. They were eating & drinking, etc. until the flood swept them all away! The Bible tells us the generation that witnesses Jesus' return (our generation) will be just like Noah's (ignore the warnings, immoral/depraved lifestyles, immersed in busy lives blatantly excluding God...caught off guard!).

Interesting Atacama info. (from Wikipedia):
