October 14th: When Darkness Masquerades As Light (PART 4)

Earlier this week, I chronicled in a 3-part series the biblical prophecy that gives us a glimpse of the unveiling of the Antichrist through an event known as the Great Deception. While we can't be entirely sure what the exact circumstances will be that will usher in this new world order, I postulated why I believe we may be on the verge of seeing this entire process come to fruition within the next few days - October 14, 2008 to be exact.

To reiterate, I'm not a prophet, I don't speak for God, and as far as date-setting is concerned this has nothing to do with me predicting the Second Coming of Jesus Christ so I'm not in violation of the clear command and warning in Scripture. Simply put, I'm just a Christian who, through the study of prophecy, is seeing many signs of the times all around us, and I merely want to alert people to be aware of what could become a horrorific reality in our very near future.

Now, it seems the plot thickens. All kidding aside, we need to prepare ourselves for some intense spiritual warfare - the likes of which we've never seen before - if this is in fact the coming Great Deception like I believe it could be.

With only a couple of days left before the predicted "First Contact" event, my research today uncovered even more interesting connections and parallels in light of the most recent "channeled" messages.

This is aside from an unconfirmed report that in addition to U.S. military forces being positioned and used as a police force in different parts of the continental United States the Canadian military reservists have also been informed to be ready to move within 48 hours notice over the next week.

Bottom line, it's just more evidence indicating that this entire phenomenon - if it does manifest itself on October 14, 2008 - is spiritual and satanic in origin.

Tom Horn of
Raiders News Network (RNN) and Anomalous Publishing wrote an article back in February 2007 regarding Patrick Heron's book Apocalypse Soon. Specifically, there's one section of his column that stands out as being VERY INTERESTING in relation to the most recent channeled messages with these "Light Beings" regarding the October 14th event.

Let's take a closer look at some of the recent news surrounding the predicted event first.

One recent channeled message states,
"Dear souls of planet earth…let it be known that we have longed for this unity. Do you see how this shall change the darkness within your stratosphere into the Golden Race? This is how you shall become known. The Golden Race. This coming into your skies is the beginning of The New Dawn…in to The New World that has been prophesied in your past days. Allow your hearts and minds…allow your very being to ascend into a vibration that resonates with the TRUTH of your soul. WE BRING WITH US A NEW WAY. A NEW UNDERSTANDING."

Why is that interesting and important? Back in 2007, Horn wrote in the column I referenced:

"The term 'Novus Ordo Seclorum' ('A New Order of the Ages') was adapted by Charles Thomson in 1782 when he was designing the Great Seal of the United States. According to the official record, Thomson created the phrase from inspiration he found in a line in Virgil’s Eclogue IV: 'Magnus ab integro seclorum nascitur ordo' [Virgil's Eclogue IV (line 5)], the interpretation of the original Latin being, "and the majestic roll of circling centuries begins anew.

Ironically, Christians since the middle ages have held that the Cumaean Sibyl of Virgil’s Ecologue IV prophesied the birth of Jesus Christ and that it was this arrival of the Savior that gave rise to 'the majestic roll of circling centuries begins anew,' or New Order of the Ages. Virgil himself was believed to be a prophet in this regard, and that is why Dante Alighieri selected him as his guide through the underworld in The Divine Comedy. The Cumaean Sibyl is also prominently featured alongside the Old Testament prophets in Michelangelo’s paintings in the Sistine Chapel. Some say this fact played a role in Thomson’s 'inspiration' for 'Novus Ordo Seclorum' taken from Virgil’s Ecologue IV.

Yet upon reading Virgil’s text, the divine son that comes of the Sibyl’s prophecy is a savior unknown to Biblical theology. 'He' is to be spawned of 'a new breed of men sent down from heaven' who receive 'the life of gods, and see Heroes with gods commingling.' According to the Sibyl’s prediction, this 'messiah' would be the son of Jupiter and come when the Roman god Saturn returned to reign over the earth in a new golden age (the Novus Ordo Seclorum), when Apollo rises again through mystical 'life' power given to him from the gods.

From the beginning of the poem we read (4):

'Now the last age by Cumae's Sibyl sung Has come and gone, and the majestic roll Of circling centuries begins anew: Justice returns, returns old Saturn's reign, With a new...breed of men sent down from heaven. Only do thou, at the boy's birth in whom The iron shall cease, the golden race arise, Befriend him, chaste Lucina; 'tis thine own Apollo reigns...'

'He shall receive the life of gods, and see Heroes with gods commingling, and himself Be seen of them, and with his father's worth Reign o'er a world…'

'Assume thy greatness, for the time draws nigh, Dear child of gods, great progeny of Jove! See how it totters- the world's orbed might, Earth, and wide ocean, and the vault profound, All, see, enraptured of the coming time! Ah! might such length of days to me be given, And breath suffice me to rehearse thy deeds, Nor Thracian Orpheus should out-sing me then, Nor Linus, though his mother this, and that His sire should aid- Orpheus Calliope, And Linus fair Apollo. Nay, though Pan, With Arcady for judge, my claim contest, With Arcady for judge great Pan himself Should own him foiled, and from the field retire. Begin to greet thy mother with a smile, O baby-boy! ten months of weariness For thee she bore: O baby-boy, begin! For him, on whom his parents have not smiled, Gods deem not worthy of their board or bed.'

Therefore according to the Sibyl, the New Order of the Ages occurs when a special 'son' is born on earth, a new messiah who comes of 'a new breed of men sent down from heaven' when 'heroes' and 'gods' are blended together. This sounds eerily similar to what the Watchers did during the creation of Nephilim; to what scientists are doing this century through the creation of transgenic human-animal chimeras, and to what the Bible actually describes as the Antichrist being the 'son" of perdition (2 Thessalonians 2:3, Apoleia, from which we make Apollyon, the demon destroyer). Note the similarity of the names Apollo and Apollyon.

Patrick Heron believes the pagan Sibyl may actually have pointed to a false Christ who appears during the end times Apocalypse, and that the Novus Ordo Seclorum prophecy of a coming special 'son' who leads mankind to a New World Order could be fulfilled anytime. According to scripture, Heron says, the near future will produce a man of superior intelligence, wit, charm, and diplomacy who will emerge on the world scene as a savior. He will seemingly possess transcendent wisdom that enables him to solve problems and to offer solutions to many of today’s most perplexing issues. One of his most important accomplishments at the very outset will be to broker a peace treaty between the Jews and Palestinians. He will also lead the charge in rebuilding the long awaited Jewish Temple. This is especially interesting given that, just this month, an Israeli archaeologist and Hebrew professor claims to have pinpointed the exact location of the original Jewish Temple, a potentially important step toward the fulfillment of the Temple reconstruction prophecy.

According to some, this Antichrist will appear at first to be a man of distinguished character, but will ultimately become 'a king of fierce countenance' (Daniel 8:23). With imperious decree he will facilitate a one-world government, a universal religion, and global socialism. Those who refuse his New World Order will inevitably be imprisoned or destroyed, until at last he exalts himself 'above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he, as God, sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God' (2 Thessalonians 2:4).

When asked why he believes prophetic signs at this point in history could be pointing to the Antichrist and the end of times, Patrick Heron says, 'I believe God is warning people, giving them one last chance to believe before the judgments of God, as revealed in the Book of Revelation, begin to fall on earth.'"

Here we have two seemingly unrelated sources tying together to give us a historical reference point for understanding all of this. Yet, the questions remains, is anyone paying attention, listening, and taking this seriously? If you still desire more proof we have to look no further than to Greek History & Literature and harken back to a time when the "gods" consorted with men for "The Golden Race" was naturally a part of what's typically referred to as "The Golden Age."

I don't intend to delve into the importance of understanding this so-called "mythology" because of the implications such has upon real-world history and biblical prophecy, but will instead strongly suggest that you pick up a copy of Tom Horn's Nephilim Stargates: The Year 2012 and the Return of the Watchers to fill in the blanks.

Instead, let's just get right to the point. [Encyclopedia Britannica] The word demon (or daemon) is the Greek daimon, the etymology of which is too doubtful to explain its original signification (see Pott, Etym. Forsch., ii. 1, 947).

Setting aside the use of the word in the general sense of deity (as in Iliad, i. 222), we find it employed in classic Greek literature with the more specific meaning under which it becomes an important term in the science of religion.

Among the most instructive passages are those in which Hesiod tells how the men of the golden race became after death demons, guardians or watchers over mortals (Hesiod, Op. et Dies, 109, &c; see Welcker, Griech. Götterlehre, vol. i. p. 731).

I wouldn't believe it if I didn't find it through my own independent research and read it with my own eyes. So, once again, we have a distinct connection between antiquity and this Light Beings let alone a distinct connection between this "golden race" and demons. Unreal.

Furthermore, my research uncovered some additional points of interest concerning this "golden race" from the times of old. Consider the following and then tell me if any of it sounds similar to what we students of biblical prophecy know the Antichrist will promise to the world and then deliver to the world for the first 3.5 years of his reign.

1. No Law Was Necessary
- This Golden Age is described as the first age which compelled no one, kept faith and did the right. Men dwelt in ease and peace upon their lands with many good things and loved by the gods. There was no law and therefore no fear of punishment. There were no cities, no swords or helmets, no foreign nations were attacked in war, nor did anyone sail over the seas. During this time, to mark the land with private bounds would have been wrong since men worked for the common store. (MY NOTE: Isn't the Antichrist supposed to rise to power through peaceful means and a remarkable ability to foster unity on a worldwide scale? No, I must be wrong about that too, right?)

2. No War Was Necessary
- Some have said that during this age of
Cronos all the parts of the universe were divided in regions, each ruled by a different god (MY NOTE: Does this sound like the "Ten Kings" to anyone else?). There were no wild creatures and the animals, being ruled by divine shepherds, did not eat one another. In the same way, there was no war among men, for they were ruled by a high deity. There were no states or families; and since they all came to life coming out of the earth and with no memory of their previous lives, they did not possess wives nor did they have any children. At this time, the universe revolved backwards; and, the climate being tempered, the men of this age lived in the open air without clothing, receiving from the earth all they needed although they did not work in agriculture. And since the universe revolved backwards they became younger as they lived.

For a quick overview of what life was like during this period of time please refer to the brief video below.

What is uncanny to me is the blatant use theological - mainly Christian - terminology and verbiage contained within these so-called messages from these apparent Light Beings who are coming to save us from ourselves and establish a new way of living on this planet.

Could it be more obvious that there's a spiritual element to this entire story? Albeit, it's an evil and satanic thread, but spiritual nonetheless. That is why I believe this could very well be the Great Deception we've been expecting.

However, the single greatest thought that I've had to come out of this ENTIRE study concerns a possible new interpretation of the famous prophecy found in Daniel Chapter 2 regarding Nebuchadnezzar’s Vision. I'll save that for another day, but isn't it interesting to note that Daniel's interpretation of this dream is commonly thought to refer to the kingdoms that would rule the world throughout time, and that we also find the exact same descriptions being used to describe "The Ages of Man" from the Greek (Golden Age, Silver Age, Bronze & Heroic Ages, Iron Age)?

What if Christians (those who choose to ignore and shun the mere mention of all of this) are failing to properly prepare to serve in their role as first line of defense against Satan and his minions? The end result could be catastrophic not to mention eternally significant!

Whether or not this turns out to be a "First Contact" event as described or just another crackpot conspiracy, the fact of the matter is that we Bible believing Christians who are also students of prophecy know what the Bible has to say about the end times. We know that a Great Deception of some sort is absolutely necessary in order to bring about the foretold Antichrist. So, that being said, at the very least I encourage you all to consider your response were such an event to occur.

God has placed you exactly where he intends for you to be for a reason. Only you can influence those within your sphere of influence to the truth. Whether or not a Light Ship shows up in our skies on October 14th or not, how will you engage with those who are susceptible to believe Satan's lies when he does emerge on the world scene? What will you tell those who are looking for answers - looking for the truth? How will you handle family members and friends who feel lost because their entire worldview has been turned on its head? These are the types of things we as Christians must consider thoughtfully for to ignore them is to be irresponsible.

We cannot draw absolute conclusions about some things in biblical prophecy, but what we can do is keep the Word of God in our hearts and minds, watch the Middle East, and keep an open mind. Bible prophecy has many variables, and one can easily be deceived by falling in with popular interpretations. If we are looking in the wrong place for prophecy fulfillment…Satan may take us by surprise!

I'm thankful that I stumbled upon this story a few weeks back and had the courage to write about it. If I'm right, perhaps I've alerted others and helped them prepare and get a head start for living as a Christian in what is sure to be a brave new world. If I'm wrong, perhaps I've reminded others that they need to prepare and get a head start on how they will react and respond when the Great Deception descends upon humanity.

Either way, it's a win-win situation. God bless.

Hey, Jeff! Another fantastic post! I also find it extremely coincidental that I wrote tonight about the "Golden Calf" growing into the "Golden Bull" -- all without having read your post!

You're right... regardless of whether anything shows up in the skies, this is our last chance. I found this line of your article to hit home especially hard:

"God has placed you exactly where he intends for you to be for a reason..."

I have to remember that when I want to make plans to do something else, or feel the urge to jump into something else.

Great post!!!
(As always...)

Interesting to say the lest. I have always hoped for a pretrib rapture. As of late I have begun to think maybe we are in it now. Someone on prophecy news watch board said the other day " we are in something." If we are in it Christ will take care of us. The elect will not be decieved. God has shortened the days. We will have no say in the real rapture as Christ will summons us up just as he did Lazarus.

In Christ,

Thanks for visiting and sharing your comments.

You know, for the past few weeks I've thought to myself, what if everything we've come to understand as propehtic doctrine and take at face value is still open to a slightly different interpretation?

Don't get me wrong, God gives us prophecy in such a way that we can all understand what He is trying to warn us about, but what if we've been guilty of simply taking what other famous scholars have told us all of these years instead of looking into things for ourselves and testing what they have to say?

I have to beleive that even the most scholarly of them all would admit that they could be wrong about things because we do know that we see through a glass darkly (if I'm remembering the Scripture correctly).

In any event, thanks for visiting and I look forward to getting to know you here.

As always, thank you for your kind words!

Isn't that something how things connected like that in His own perfect timing?

Things are certainly getting very interesting. Thanks for the article idea. I plan to look into that more closely later.
